It is definitely worth the day trip from Warsaw. Didn’t feel rushed, either. Plenty of time to grab food.

Very good and moving experience. Would have liked more time at the second camp, Auschwitz II, not quite enough there.

AB Everest was the tour company I used. They were exceptional with their communication, all pickups were on time and the whole tour ran on time. The transport was great. I loved taking the train, clean, comfortable and convenient. Our guide at Auschwitz-Birkenau was knowledgeable, shared stories detailing the plight of victims and helped deliver a sensitive topic with care. I highly recommend this group and the historic value of this tour. Go to remember. Read more

The tour operator with whom you book a tour provides LOGISTICS. The actual presentation is done by someone from the Auschwitz Memorial group. MY TOUR OPERATOR WAS TOP NOTCH. The operator was in touch in advance to ensure that we had A clear shared understanding of pick up times and locations. The operator promised to be at my hotel at 5 AM; and when I got to the lobby at 4:59, the van was just pulling up for the ride to the train station. Perfectly on time. Great service. The tour operator accompanied me to the train platform in the central Station at Warsaw. We had time for a coffee before hand. When the train was delayed, the operator stayed with me, which was a good thing. Why? Because during the 30 minute delay, the announcements were all in Polish, which I do not speak. the train company Change the departure track during the delay, and the operator made sure that we walked to the new track. I would have never known. Once I arrived in Krakow, followed the tour operator specific, advance directions. My guide met me right on the platform, right on time, with a smile, and with fluent English. Everyone fluent tour operator spoke fluent English. That guide had a printed map and key suggestions about places to visit during the roughly 2 1/2 hours I had on my own in Krakow. The bus departed on time for the camps. The guides met us yher and AGAIN gave clear, detsiled instructions about where to be and when. The LOGISTICS were FLAWLESS. The actual tour guide—who is not employed by the operator— Was brilliant, knowledgeable, and respectful of the entire event. Important tips: 1. The tour operator alerted me in advance that this is a physically demanding tour. You will spend much of the day on your feet, walking on stone/dirt paths. 2. There are short breaks during which you can grab some food from the vendor at the camps. However, I recommend bringing a couple of sandwiches or other easy to transport and eat food with you because the food at those “restaurants“ isn’t terrific. Also, yourself a couple of smaller bottles of water. 3. If you bring a backpack, please know that you’ll be carrying it with you all day. You cannot leave things on the.Bus. Once again, the tour operator‘s communication both in advance, and each key point during the tour Set clear guidelines and expectations, so that I knew where to be, when to be there, and what to expect. For their end, the tour operator provided associates who were fluent in English, friendly, and helpful. Use AB Everest.Read more

I really enjoyed the trip, both drivers were very polite and on time. The tour to auschwitz was also nice, but the fact that we had books and not an English guide was not the best experience, however I’ve agreed with it, so no problem. In regards to the trains, as we are booking a premium experience, with private drivers, etc, I suggest in the future you give the option of 1st class trains as it really makes the difference after an exhaustive day, also return time should be agreed as after waking up at 3am you don’t want to stay until 21 to go back to Warsaw. In this occasion we have cancelled both tickets from the agency and bought 2 1st class ones that costed over 120€, in an earlier train. Read more

Excellent, well organized and informative tour. It would have been a logistical nightmare for us to plan a trip to Auschwitz and Krakow in one day from Warsaw in one day because we were pressed for time. Royal Tours handled everything perfectly from hotel pick up, all tickets, walked us onto the train, picked us up in the Krakow train station, drove us to Auschwitz and back to Krakow so we could explore the city on our own, walked back to train which was close to the old town center and then they picked us up in Warsaw again and drove us to our hotel. Heartbreaking tour of Auschwitz with a very knowledgeable guide. It’s a long day and a lot of walking . People with mobility issues and children would have a hard time because the ground is very uneven and a lot of stairs. Krakow is a beautiful medieval cityRead more

Great tour and friendly staff – once in a lifetime experience that I was really glad I was able to squeeze in while here. The day was entirely too long though. I would have loved to be able to catch the train back to Warsaw after the tour 2 hours sooner when dropped off at the station instead of waiting for the train that was booked for me (maybe offer that as an option next time). Made for a 19+ hour day and walking 8 miles I couldn’t get back to my hotel bed fast enough. Read more

Well coordinated and enthusiastic team that ensured I was all set for the tour . The tour guide at Auschwitz though could have been a bit more involved as half the experience is through their perspective and it felt like he was just ticking the boxes. The train connectivity is a great idea as it was relaxing and there was ample time to get a glimpse of Krakow too. Read more
