Honestly, I wasn’t expecting much from a 3-star place in Wola, but 1010 Warsaw Centrum completely surprised me. The location on Waliców is actually brilliant – you’re far enough from the tourist chaos of Old Town to feel like you’re in real Warsaw, but close enough that you can walk to the Palace of Culture in about 15 minutes if you’re feeling energetic. What I really loved is that you’re basically surrounded by authentic Polish life here. There’s this fantastic milk bar (Bar Mleczny Bambino) just around the corner where locals grab cheap, hearty meals, and the whole neighborhood has this lived-in vibe that you just don’t get near the main square.

The hotel itself feels refreshingly unpretentious – clean, modern rooms without trying too hard to be fancy. I mean, the lobby’s nothing special, but honestly? That worked for me. No marble nonsense or overly dramatic lighting, just a straightforward place to sleep that actually cares about the details that matter. The soundproofing is surprisingly good (important since Waliców can get busy during rush hour), and the beds are properly comfortable, not those rock-hard European mattresses you sometimes encounter. Check-in was smooth, and the staff actually knew the neighborhood well enough to give decent restaurant recommendations beyond the obvious tourist traps.

You know what really sold me on this place? The practical stuff just works. The Wi-Fi doesn’t cut out every five minutes, the shower has proper water pressure, and – this might sound silly – but the curtains actually block out light, which is rare in budget-friendly hotels. Plus, you’re a stone’s throw from the Rondo ONZ metro station, so getting around Warsaw is dead simple. The area gets pretty quiet after 9 PM, which is perfect if you’re trying to recover from exploring the city all day. I stayed there during a busy conference week in September, and while downtown hotels were either booked solid or charging ridiculous rates, this place maintained its sanity – both in availability and pricing. The 9.3 rating makes total sense once you realize it’s not trying to be something it’s not. It’s just a solid, well-run hotel in a genuinely interesting part of Warsaw that most tourists never see. If you want to feel less like a visitor and more like a temporary local, this is your spot.

  Miejsce czyste i idealnie przygotowane. Najbardziej urzekły mnie świeże kwiaty w wazonie 🙂 Do tego świeża kawa i herbata (co wcale nie jest takie oczywiste w innych miejscach). W bloku znajduje się żabka, więc o zakupy tez łatwo. Skomunikowane super, blisko centrum.

  Super lokalizacja, pokój bardzo czysty, wyposażony w najpotrzebniejsze rzeczy. Blisko dworca, tramwaju, metra. Szybkie zameldowanie/wymeldowanie. Mimo małego metrażu, pokój spełnił wszystkie potrzeby. Dobry dla pracy zdalnej.

  Mieszkanie było perfekcyjnie wysprzątane i przygotowane na pobyt. W mieszkaniu bardzo duża dostępność nowoczesnych sprzętów (suszarka, pralka, etc). Wszystko było w jak najlepszym porządku, mieszkanie oceniam na bez zarzutu, właściciel był responsywny, jeśli chodzi o udzielenie ad-hoc dodatkowych instrukcji dotarcia do mieszkania/otwarcia/kodu, co jeszcze usprawniło proces. Stosunek ceny do jakości (w szczególności uwzględniając atrakcyjną lokalizację) oceniam jako znakomity. Polecam!
