Look, I’ll be honest with you – Aleja 3 maja 7 by Homeprime isn’t going to blow your mind, but it’s actually a pretty solid choice if you want to stay right in the heart of Warsaw without breaking the bank. The location is honestly fantastic – you’re literally on one of the main arteries running through Śródmieście, which means you can walk to the Old Town in about fifteen minutes (I timed it), and there’s a tram stop basically outside your door. The building itself has that classic Warsaw feel – you know, the kind that survived everything this city’s been through – and while the entrance is a bit understated (I actually walked past it twice the first time), once you’re inside it’s clean and well-maintained. The rooms are what you’d expect from a solid 3-star place – nothing fancy, but the beds are comfortable enough and the Wi-Fi actually works, which honestly can’t be said for every place in this price range.

What I really appreciated was how quiet it gets at night, despite being on such a busy street. The windows do their job, and you’re not dealing with the party crowd you might find closer to the nightlife districts. The staff speaks decent English, which helps if your Polish is as terrible as mine, and they’re pretty helpful with directions – though honestly, you’ll figure out the area pretty quickly since everything’s walkable. I mean, you’ve got the Palace of Culture right there (love it or hate it, it’s useful for getting your bearings), and if you head toward Nowy Świat, you’ll hit all the good restaurants and bars. One thing to note – parking can be a bit of a pain if you’re driving, but there’s street parking if you’re patient, and honestly, you probably don’t need a car anyway since the public transport connections are excellent.

The breakfast situation is decent – nothing spectacular, but it’ll get you going in the morning, and there’s good coffee which is really all I care about before 10 AM. What surprised me was how many repeat guests there seemed to be when I stayed there last spring – always a good sign, right? The housekeeping is thorough, and I never had any issues with hot water or heating, which can be hit-or-miss in some of these older buildings. You’re also really close to some great local spots that tourists often miss – there’s this little milk bar (bar mleczny) just a few blocks away that serves proper Polish comfort food for almost nothing, and the Saturday market near the university is worth checking out if you’re into that sort of thing. Overall, it’s one of those places that just works – you’ll sleep well, you’re perfectly positioned to explore the city, and you won’t feel like you’re staying in some soulless chain hotel. For the price point and that 7.5 rating, it delivers exactly what it promises.

  The location was good, the rooms were big and clean, the entry instructions were precise.

  Very spacious, facilities were very clean well had all the necessary equipment needed cookers showers would recommend to anyone going to Warsaw as it is only 5-10 min taxi to the main shopping centre

  The space was good fit for a group, it was clean and local to the things we needed. Overall decent lodging for what we needed.
  
  What could be improved: My only complaint was that there was no fans in the property and where it is located next to a major bridge so it was hard to keep the windows open due to noise but needed to due to the heat.

  Good location, spacious, comfortable that there are 2 bathrooms.
  
  What could be improved: Not very clean. There was a dirty tray in the oven, cups were dirty, found some tissues on the ground next to bed. Bed mattresses were very old and worn out, not comfortable to sleep.

  Location was good with many transport links. Amenities were close by including Carrefour supermarket.
  
  What could be improved: Busy and noisy overpass outside two bedrooms. This ment that despite the 35 degree heat we could not open the windows to cool down as it was too noisy and smelled of fumes.
  The drain in the sink in the en suite and the drain in the main shower were blocked. The shower head in the en suite was also broken. We did get in touch with the host who fixed the en suite but not the main shower.
  Also there was only one small towel and one soft pillow for each guest. Despite asking for more this request was ignored.
  Facility overall would benefit from an upgrade and a deep clean.

  Dobra lokalizacja wypadowa, blisko do sklepów i do centrum, z samodzielnym zameldowaniem i wymeldowaniem spotkałem się po raz pierwszy w życiu i jest to o wiele wygodniejsze niż „typowe”, instrukcja step-by-step jest bardzo czytelna.
  
  What could be improved: W ostatni dzień spalił się przedłużacz do którego była podłączona zmywarka, +w kuchni wypada kran (pod ciśnieniem wody potrafi wystrzelić i pół kuchni jest mokre. W dodatku łóżko w sypialni (ten pokój z balkonem i łazienką) jest bardzo niewygodne, podczas leżenia na nim wbijają się sprężyny.
