Amazing, spacious apartment in the city center!

8.0 Excellent

Overview

Okay, so here’s the thing about this place – the moment you walk in, you actually forget you’re staying in what’s technically just an apartment rental. I mean, the space is genuinely impressive, and I’m someone who’s usually pretty skeptical about listings that oversell themselves with words like “amazing.”

The location is honestly what sold me on it. You’re right in the thick of things without being on one of those tourist-trap streets where you can’t think straight because of all the noise. You know what I loved? Walking out in the morning and seeing actual locals grabbing coffee, not just other travelers looking lost with their phones out. There’s this little bakery maybe two blocks away that clearly isn’t trying to be Instagram-famous – just makes really good pastries. The kind of spot you stumble across and feel like you’ve discovered something. And honestly, being able to walk to most of the main sights meant I saved a fortune on taxis, which was a nice bonus I wasn’t really expecting.

What really got me though was how the space actually feels lived-in rather than sterile. The kitchen isn’t just for show – I mean, there are proper pots and pans, good knives, even decent coffee (not those tiny packets that taste like sadness). I ended up cooking a few meals, partly because I wanted to hit up the local market, but also because sometimes you just want to sprawl out somewhere that feels like home. The bed is one of those situations where you’re pleasantly surprised – actually comfortable, not just acceptable. And the shower has proper water pressure, which honestly can make or break a stay for me. There’s good natural light throughout the day, though if you’re someone who needs complete darkness to sleep, you might want to figure out the curtain situation on your first night rather than fumbling around at 6 AM like I did. The WiFi worked perfectly fine for video calls, which these days is pretty essential. I will say, you can hear some street noise in the evenings, but it’s more like city life background sound rather than anything disruptive – actually kind of nice if you’re used to urban living.
