So here’s the thing about Apartament City Express – it’s one of those places that completely caught me off guard in the best possible way. You walk up expecting your standard three-star situation, but honestly? This place punches way above its weight class. I mean, a 9.3 rating doesn’t just happen by accident.

The first thing that hit me was how they’ve nailed that whole “apartament” concept (yeah, they spell it the European way, which I actually love). These aren’t just hotel rooms with a mini-fridge shoved in the corner – you’re getting proper living spaces with kitchenettes that you’ll actually want to use. The morning I made coffee in my room instead of wandering around looking for an overpriced café? Game changer. The counter space is surprisingly generous, and they’ve thought about the little stuff too – there’s actually a proper dish towel, not just some sad washcloth situation. You know what I mean?

What really got me though was the vibe of the whole place. The staff genuinely seem to care about getting the details right, which is refreshing when you’ve stayed at places where they act like they’re doing you a favor. Check-in was smooth – no waiting around while they hunt for your reservation or try to upsell you on room upgrades you don’t need. And the cleanliness factor is seriously impressive; I’m talking about those corners and surfaces that lazy housekeeping usually skips right over. The shower pressure was excellent (always a gamble, right?), and the Wi-Fi actually worked consistently, which sadly isn’t something you can take for granted anymore.

I’ll be honest – the location thing is a bit tricky to pin down since they don’t advertise a specific address, but once you’re there, you realize it doesn’t really matter. Sometimes the best spots are the ones tucked away from the main tourist drags anyway. The neighborhood felt safe for evening walks, and there was enough going on nearby that you’re not stranded if you need to grab something or find a decent meal. Parking wasn’t a nightmare either, which anyone who’s driven in a city center will appreciate.

Look, I’ve stayed at plenty of three-star places that felt like they were phoning it in, so finding one that’s clearly putting in effort was honestly refreshing. The attention to making these spaces actually livable – not just somewhere to crash between sightseeing – really shows. It’s the kind of place where you might find yourself hanging out in your room in the evening instead of feeling like you need to escape it. And for travelers who appreciate having a bit more space and independence without paying boutique hotel prices, this hits that sweet spot perfectly.

  We loved everything about the apartment. It is located in an amazing location which is very close to the Uprising Museum and old town. It has been decorated really nicely and equipped with everything you may need. It has a balcony which is very nice to enjoy your coffee 🙂 And the hosts are really nice people. They are always there to help you and you can reach them easily. It was a very enjoyable stay. Thank you very much again for everything 🙂
