That’s actually what makes Apartament Dom przy Okrzei such a find. The building sits right on Okrzei street (hence the name, obviously), and while it might not have the Instagram-worthy facade of those fancy hotels near the Royal Castle, there’s something refreshingly authentic about staying here. The apartment itself is genuinely well-appointed – I mean, we’re talking proper 4-star comfort without the stuffy hotel vibe. The space feels lived-in rather than sterile, which I actually prefer when I’m trying to get a real feel for a city. Plus, and this matters more than you’d think, the windows are properly soundproofed. Warsaw can get surprisingly noisy, especially during summer evenings when everyone’s out and about.

What really sold me on this place, though, is how it sits in the neighborhood. Praga Pólnoc has this gritty, artistic energy that’s completely different from the more touristy areas across the Vistula. You’re walking distance from some seriously good pierogi spots that locals actually eat at (not the tourist traps), and there’s this whole creative scene happening around here that most visitors completely miss. The tram connections are actually better than I expected – you can get to the center in about 20 minutes, but honestly, some days I found myself just wandering the local streets instead. There’s street art everywhere, little cafes tucked into unexpected corners, and this general sense that you’re seeing the Warsaw that’s still becoming something rather than the one that’s already been packaged for tourists. The Renters Prestige folks clearly know what they’re doing too – check-in was smooth (they actually showed up exactly when they said they would, which… well, if you’ve traveled enough, you know that’s not always a given), and they had local recommendations that went way beyond the usual “visit the Palace of Culture” suggestions.

I mean, let’s be real about what you’re getting here. This isn’t a place where someone’s going to turn down your bed or bring you room service on silver platters.   Apartament zasługuje na najwyższą ocenę pod każdym względem. Począwszy od wzorowej czystości, wyposażenia i lokalizacji. Wystrój apartamentu to kwestia gustu, widać na zdjęciach. Urządzony bardzo funkcjonalnie i estetycznie. Położenie niedaleko zamku królewskiego, bulwarów, areny. Dodatkowo garaż podziemny w cenie wynajmu. Komunikacja miejska na ulicy lub przecznicę dalej (w zależności gdzie chce się jechać). Sklep Lidl w budynku, biedronka 100 m.

  Apartament nowy, czysty, z wszelkimi potrzebnymi na krótki wyjazd udogodnieniami. Świetnie położony praktycznie przy "kładce Trzaskowskiego" przez Wisłę. Widok z balkonu (boczny) na zamek królewski, stadion narodowy i port praski. W cenie pokoju garaż podziemny – super! Sto metrów od budynku restauracja "Boska Praga" z pysznymi śniadaniami – szczere polecamy. Byliśmy z wyjazdu bardzo zadowoleni.

  – lokalizacja, z balkonu widać zarówno stadion jak i zamek, blisko przystanku autobusowego i tramwajowego, jak również nowo otwartej kładki dla pieszych,
  – miejsce w hali garażowej, do tego bardzo zadbany apartamentowiec, wyciszony, z windą, w spokojnej okolicy, w okolicy sklepy i kawiarnie,
  – czysta, świeża pościel, wygodny materac, dużo ręczników, mydełka i kosmetyki naturalne, zapas papieru toaletowego,
  – w pełni wyposażona kuchnia w różne naczynia, garnki, patelnie czy sztućce, a także w toster, ekspres do kawy na kapsułki, czajnik, kawę i herbatę, płyn do naczyń i tabletki do zmywarki, ręcznik papierowy i wodę Perlage dla gości,
  – suszarka do włosów, suszarka do ubrań, deska do prasowania, żelazko, wieszaki w szafie,
  – bardzo dobry internet wi-fi, sporo programów telewizyjnych.
  Ogólnie był to bardzo udany pobyt, a apartament jest naprawdę przyjemny.
  
  What could be improved: Minusy:
  – deszczownica, która w dużej części miała kamień i z wielu dziurek nie leciała woda, zaś ze szczelnych otworów leciała na boki, natomiast druga słuchawka prysznicowa miała uchwyt na wysokości termostatu, więc trzeba ją było trzymać w ręku, do tego miała sporo czarnego nalotu w otworach, przydałoby się porządne odkamienianie i wyczyszczenie (kupiłam coś do czyszczenia i sama zmuszona byłam trochę to ogarnąć, bo strach było korzystać),
  – nieprzyjemny zapach z pralki i ciemny nalot na gumie, wystarczyłoby raz na jakiś czas wlać z pół szklanki octu i puścić pustą pralkę na wysoką temperaturę, by ją przeczyścić,
  – resztki jedzenia na dnie zmywarki i bardzo brudny filtr w zmywarce.
  
  A od siebie jeszcze dodam tylko, że poduszki w sypialni, owszem, były wygodne, ale małe (płaskie), można się dorobić bólu karku. Może jednak dorzucić jeszcze jakieś jaśki lub większe poduchy 😉
  Gdyby nie prysznic, byłoby 10 na 10 🙂
