Hotel Description
Look, I’ll be honest – when I first booked Apartament Hotel Chłodna 15, I wasn’t sure what to expect from a place tucked away on this particular street in Wola. But you know what? It turned out to be one of those pleasant surprises that makes you feel like you actually know Warsaw by the time you leave. The building itself is modern without being flashy, and there’s something refreshingly straightforward about the whole setup. You’re literally a ten-minute walk from the Palace of Culture and Science (yeah, that massive Stalin-era tower you can’t miss), but here’s the thing – you’re far enough away that you don’t feel like you’re drowning in tourist crowds. The Rondo ONZ metro station is close enough that you’ll actually use it, which honestly makes all the difference when you’re trying to get around the city without constantly hailing taxis.
What I really appreciated was how the apartments feel like, well, actual apartments rather than hotel rooms with a kitchenette awkwardly shoved in the corner. The spaces are genuinely livable – I mean, I could see myself staying here for a week or two without going stir-crazy. The kitchens are properly equipped (not just a microwave and a prayer), and the Wi-Fi actually works consistently, which… let’s just say that’s not always a given in Warsaw. The staff at reception knows their stuff too – they’ll give you real recommendations, not just the obvious tourist traps. One thing worth mentioning is that while the street itself is pretty quiet, you’re close enough to Żelazna that you’ll hear some traffic if you’re a really light sleeper, but it’s nothing that kept me awake. Actually, I found it kind of comforting – that gentle urban hum that reminds you you’re in a real neighborhood, not some sterile hotel district.
The area around Chłodna has this interesting mix of old Warsaw grit and new development that I found pretty fascinating. There’s a decent grocery store within walking distance (Żabka, obviously, but also a proper supermarket), and you’re surprisingly close to some excellent restaurants that locals actually frequent. I stumbled across this fantastic pierogi place just a few blocks away that definitely wasn’t in any guidebook. The 8.6 rating makes total sense to me – it’s not trying to be the fanciest place in Warsaw, but everything works exactly as it should. Check-in was smooth, the apartment was clean and well-maintained, and honestly, the value for what you get is pretty solid. If you’re the type of traveler who wants to feel like you’re living in Warsaw rather than just visiting it, this place hits that sweet spot perfectly. Just don’t expect a fancy lobby or concierge service – this is more about having a comfortable, functional base in a genuinely interesting part of the city.

It’s great value for money opportunity. Although it was small in size, it has everything you needed, fully equipt.
What could be improved: The building was a panel house with panel walls so you could hear some noises of the neibourghrs, but that’s nothing unusual.Great little apartment – Oliver from Australia – September 15, 2024 (10/10)
Fantastic little apartment, easy to find, keys were simple to get, great value for money. We're so impressed with it! Owner provided towels etc which saved us bag space, really great stay. I was on the sofa bed which was surprisingly comfortable, we had no issues sleeping, and really enjoyed that we had a seperate kitchen/diner for vibing in.
What could be improved: Fridge wasn't massively cold – wouldn't recommend keeping stuff in it for more than a night!Exceptional – Olga from Israel – July 9, 2024 (10/10)
The apartment has everything needed. Located very centrally.
Stay was very good, I would recommend this apartament to everyone – Paulina from Poland – June 3, 2024 (8/10)
Price, how apartament looks, location, quietness, instruction how to get in to the apartament
What could be improved: Cleanliness, the air conditioning in one room was leakingExcelent value for money – Lukas from Lithuania – March 4, 2024 (8/10)
Everything was very nice. Great value for money, the apartment had everything we needed for 2 nights in Warsaw.
What could be improved: The dishwasher didn't seem to work.Very Good – Laura from Finland – July 6, 2024 (8/10)
Quite close to center. Nicely decorated
What could be improved: Aircon in the bedroom was leaking water to the floor and couldn't be used. Small rooms but everything we needed.Very good – Aitor from Spain – July 8, 2025 (7/10)
Communication with the host was excellent. The apartment had clear and precise instructions. It was clean and very well-equipped, with oil, soap, shampoo, body wash, hairdryer, kettle, toaster, air conditioning, heating, and more.
What could be improved: Very good quality-price ratio. If I have to object to anything, it is the comfort of the settee-bed.Good – Bansal from Finland – July 6, 2024 (7/10)
What could be improved: No parking available as it's should be there
Fair – Dorosenko from Latvia – December 23, 2023 (5/10)
Good location. Lots of appliances. Several sleeping places.
What could be improved: The smell of sewage in the bathroom. But the worst thing is the beds. The mattresses on the small beds are soft, but you drown in them. And on the big bed, it feels like you're sleeping on planks. That's why you don't get enough sleep.Exceptional – Justyna from Poland – July 25, 2025 (10/10)
Wygodny ,przytulny apartament.
Klimatyzacja ,która w gorące dni była ulgą.Bardzo blisko do Hali Mirowskiej.
Polecam
