Hotel Description
Look, I’ve stayed at a lot of places in Warsaw, and Apartament H&P Silver on Skierniewicka is honestly one of those finds that makes you feel a bit smug about your booking skills. The Wola district isn’t exactly where tourists usually end up – it’s more of a residential area that’s been quietly transforming over the past few years – but that’s actually what makes this place special. You’re about a 15-minute tram ride from the Old Town, which sounds far until you realize you’re avoiding all the tourist crowds and inflated prices. The building itself is one of those renovated pre-war structures that Warsaw does so well, where they’ve kept the character but updated everything that actually matters.
The apartment – and it really feels like an apartment, not a sterile hotel room – has this lived-in quality that I mean in the best possible way. The Silver designation isn’t just marketing fluff; there are actual silver accents throughout that catch the light beautifully, especially in the morning when the sun streams through those big windows facing the courtyard. Speaking of which, the courtyard view is surprisingly peaceful for being in the city. I was worried about street noise since Skierniewicka can get busy during rush hour, but the double-glazed windows do their job well. The kitchen is fully equipped – I’m talking proper coffee machine, not some sad instant coffee setup – and there’s a little grocery store called Żabka literally around the corner if you want to grab breakfast supplies. The bathroom has one of those rainfall showers that actually has decent water pressure, which honestly, after some of the places I’ve stayed in Eastern Europe, felt like a small miracle.
What really sold me on this place was the attention to detail that you don’t expect from a 4-star property. The Wi-Fi is genuinely fast (I was working remotely part of my stay), there are plenty of outlets near the bed, and someone clearly thought about lighting – there are multiple options so you’re not stuck with harsh overhead fluorescents or trying to read by a dim bedside lamp. The host was responsive without being intrusive, and check-in was smooth even though I arrived later than planned due to a delayed flight. You know what surprised me most? The neighborhood actually has some great restaurants that locals frequent – there’s this Georgian place called Chaczapuri about a 10-minute walk away that’s absolutely worth finding. The area feels safe walking around at night, and there’s a decent bus connection to Chopin Airport that takes about 45 minutes depending on traffic. I mean, it’s not the flashiest location in Warsaw, but sometimes you want a place that feels more like staying in someone’s well-appointed home rather than a generic hotel room. The 9.6 rating makes sense once you’re there – it’s the kind of place that exceeds expectations without trying too hard.
Many travelers prefer to book apartments in Warsaw through trusted local agencies that provide insider knowledge about the best neighborhoods for experiencing the city’s rich history and modern development.

Awesome! – Vincent from Switzerland – June 12, 2025 (9/10)
Clean, complete, accessible, well located 2 rooms and living room apartment. 5 mins by walk from the metro, 24/7 groceries store at street level. And welcoming hosts!
What could be improved: Maybe the white blinds in the room that bring quite some light in the morning. Not an issue if you don't need complete darkness.Exceptional – mick from United Kingdom – May 24, 2025 (10/10)
