You know what? I was honestly a bit skeptical when I first saw Apartament Koszykowa 3 listed as a 3-star place – I mean, Warsaw’s got some pretty impressive hotels, so I wasn’t expecting much. But walking up to this spot on Koszykowa Street, right in the heart of Śródmieście, I actually got excited. The building has that classic Warsaw character – you can tell it’s got stories to tell, but it’s been updated in all the right ways. Check-in was refreshingly straightforward (none of that overly formal hotel lobby nonsense), and the person helping me actually knew the neighborhood well enough to give me real recommendations, not just the tourist traps.

The apartment itself surprised me – and I’ve stayed in a lot of places around this city. It’s got this lived-in comfort that you just don’t get in cookie-cutter hotel rooms. The kitchen actually works (I made coffee there every morning and it became this little ritual I looked forward to), and there’s enough space to spread out your stuff without feeling like you’re living out of a suitcase. The windows face the street, so you get some of that authentic Warsaw energy – a bit of traffic noise during the day, but honestly, it settles down nicely in the evenings. The bathroom’s compact but well-designed, with one of those rainfall showerheads that actually has decent water pressure. What really got me was the little details – proper hangers in the closet, enough outlets near the bed for your phone charger, that sort of thing that shows someone actually thought about how people live.

Location-wise, this place is pretty brilliant if you want to experience Warsaw like someone who actually lives here. You’re walking distance from the Palace of Culture (love it or hate it, it’s hard to miss), but you’re also close enough to some of the better local spots that most tourists never find. There’s this fantastic milk bar just a few streets over that serves the kind of pierogi that’ll ruin you for the tourist versions, and the tram connections are solid – you can get pretty much anywhere in the city without too much hassle. Parking can be a bit of an adventure (welcome to central Warsaw), but there are options nearby if you’re driving. I spent most evenings just wandering the neighborhood, and it’s got that perfect mix of local life and interesting architecture. The 8.9 rating makes total sense to me – it’s not trying to be fancy, but it delivers on everything that actually matters when you’re staying somewhere. Honestly, I’d book it again without hesitation, especially if I was planning a longer stay where I wanted to feel more settled than you do in a regular hotel room.

  Excellent apartment, not far from the center. Very clean and neat. It is perfect for short and long stays as you will find everything you need here. Kitchen is fully equipped so you can cook. The neighborhood is quiet so nothing will disturb you.

  The apartments are located in a convenient location in the city (there is a store nearby, many cafes). The apartment is clean and spacious.
  
  What could be improved: A little surprised that the ventilation did not work in the bathroom. Also, usually in apartments of this price category there is always tea, coffee. This time we did not find anything like that (only a jar with sugar). But since we stayed for one night, this factor did not affect the situation much.

  Lokalizacja mieszkania w bardzo dobrym miejscu, spacerem można dostać się bez problemu do centrum. Apartament wygląda dokładnie tak jak na zdjęciach. Do spania podwójne łóżko w sypialni i ewentualnie rozkładana kanapa w salonie. Dodatkowy plus za kontakt, stosunek jakości do ceny oraz fakt, że do dyspozycji jest kuchnia z niezbędnymi sprzętami, można śmiało coś ugotować samemu. W okolicy znajduje się również dużo atrakcyjnych lokali gastronomicznych, apteka, niezbędne sklepy. Bardzo podobały mi się kwiaty, które rosną na rogu kamienicy. Poza tym grube mury zapewniają ciszę i spokój podczas pobytu. Jeśli kiedyś będę wracać do Warszawy to w pierwszej kolejności do tego apartamentu. Polecam wszystkim 🙂
