Overview
First Impressions
Walking up to the second floor of this elegant Nowy Świat building, I honestly wasn’t sure what to expect from Apartament luster i obrazów — but the name gives it away once you step inside. This four-star apartment is literally decorated with an impressive collection of paintings and chandeliers that feel more like a private art gallery than typical tourist accommodation. The moment you unlock the door, you’re greeted by this curated space that somehow manages to feel both sophisticated and welcoming at the same time.
Location & Neighborhood
You know what’s brilliant about staying here? You’re right on Nowy Świat — I mean, you can’t get more central in Warsaw than this. Step outside and you’re immediately surrounded by cafes, bookshops, and that perfect mix of locals and visitors that makes a neighborhood feel alive. The Royal Route is literally at your doorstep, so you can walk to the Old Town in about fifteen minutes, or head south toward Łazienki Park when you need some green space. Couples seem to absolutely love this spot (and I can see why) — there’s something romantic about having your own little art-filled hideaway right in the heart of everything.
The Space
The room itself is what really sets this place apart from your typical hotel stay. Those paintings aren’t just random decorations — they’re thoughtfully chosen pieces that give each corner of the apartment its own character. The lighting from the chandeliers (the “luster” in the name) creates this warm, intimate atmosphere that’s perfect for evening conversations over a bottle of Polish wine. There’s enough space to actually live a bit rather than just crash between sightseeing sessions, which honestly makes such a difference when you’re staying more than a night or two.
Practical Comforts
What I appreciated most was how well-equipped everything is without feeling cluttered. The kitchen has everything you need if you want to grab fresh ingredients from the nearby markets — and trust me, the food scene around here is worth exploring. The whole setup feels like you’re borrowing a friend’s beautifully appointed Warsaw apartment rather than staying in generic tourist accommodation. Small touches like quality linens and thoughtful lighting make it clear that someone who actually cares about hospitality put this place together.
Why Guests Love It
With that 9.2 rating, it’s clear I’m not the only one who’s been impressed by this place. The location score of 9.9 speaks for itself — you really can’t do better than being right on Nowy Świat with easy access to everything Warsaw has to offer. But beyond the prime address, it’s the artistic touches and attention to detail that make this apartment special. You get the independence and space of your own place, but with the thoughtful curation and service that makes a stay memorable. For couples especially, there’s something undeniably romantic about having your own art-filled sanctuary in the middle of one of Europe’s most vibrant cities.

What could be improved: Nothing. Everything was great.
Great appointment in the great location
The apartment is specious, warm and has central location with plenty of transportation options nearby. Comfortable beds.
Located on the second floor without elevator, which wasn’t the issue for us, but it should be kept in mind.
We recommend this option in Warsaw for families!
The only thing that wasn’t that convenient is that we had 3 blankets for 4 people.
Short pre Christmas stay
The apartment was easy to get to from the main train station. About 15 minute walk or plenty of public transport options. It was located in a lovely street with plenty of bars and restaurants. A short walk into the old town. There were five of us, so it was great to have two bathrooms.
What could be improved: There wasn't anything to dislike.
Exceptional
Great location apartment is whats on the cover clean all amenties you need.
Our flight home was delayed and our request for a 3 hour (15.00) later checkout was No problem. Have No hestitation in recommending this.
Wonderful
This property was in a great location and suited us as two couples very well.
Short walk to the old part of Warsaw and as well it had buses running past the door. The street outside is bustling with people with a variety of restaurants and food stores.
We did have a problem locating the property as the address is not on the main street and it opened into a courtyard with a variety of apartment blocks around it. A small diagram along with the details for access would have helped. We did work it out though it caused some concern as it was getting dark.
The apartment is beautifully decorated but cannot remember if this place did not have a toaster and or a microwave.
However the choice of food on the street exceeded what we needed.
The apartment was perfect
It was a lovely place with a perfect location. We made it our home
