You know what caught me off guard about Apartament MGM Karmelicka? The name makes it sound all fancy and corporate, but honestly, this place has way more character than I expected for a 3-star spot. I mean, sure, it’s technically apartment-style accommodation, but there’s something really genuine about how they’ve set everything up that just works.

The location on Karmelicka is actually pretty sweet – you’re right in that part of Krakow where you can walk to the main square without your feet screaming at you, but you’re not dealing with the constant tourist chaos outside your window. I stayed there in late spring, and mornings were surprisingly quiet until around 9 AM, which was perfect since I’m one of those people who needs actual sleep when traveling. The street itself has this lived-in feel where you’ll see locals heading to work mixed in with other travelers, and there’s a little grocery shop maybe two minutes away that saved me multiple times when I realized I forgot to pack something obvious (phone charger, obviously).

What really sold me on the place was the attention to practical stuff that a lot of places just ignore. The apartment I stayed in had this tiny but well-thought-out kitchen setup – not just a mini fridge and microwave situation, but actual counter space and decent cookware if you want to grab some pierogi from the market and heat them up properly. The Wi-Fi was solid throughout (I work remotely sometimes, so this matters), and honestly, the whole space felt like someone actually lives there rather than just rotating through generic hotel furniture. The bathroom was small but had great water pressure, and they’d stocked it with those little touches that show someone’s paying attention – decent towels, a hair dryer that doesn’t sound like a dying vacuum, stuff like that. Check-in was refreshingly straightforward too, none of that overly complicated key pickup dance some apartment rentals put you through. The woman who showed me around spoke perfect English and gave me actually useful tips about the neighborhood, like which tram stop gets you to Kazimierz fastest and where to find good coffee that isn’t tourist-priced. That 9.2 rating it has? Yeah, I get it – it’s not trying to be something it’s not, but what it does, it does really well.

  For our purposes, the location was excellent. Walking distance to Chabad and the Polin museum. The area is full of history.

  Modern renovated 1 br apartment in a vintage apartment block on a side street. The kitchen is fully equipped and stocked with kitchenware and appliances. A/C, tv, wifi, washing machine, dishwasher. Comfortable bed. Very clean rooms and bathroom equipped with a stall shower. Excellent location close to Polin Museum. Minimarket nearby. The management supplies a door code for the main entry to the building and then there is a coded lockbox for the apartment key upstairs.

  It was very pleasant to stay here. I felt myself as at home. The appartment is very warm, clean, comfortable, quiet and well equipped. I want to thank the landlord for his work and attention to the details.

  Naprawdę bardzo przyjemny apartament, w doskonałej lokalizacji, bardzo blisko Biedronka, apteka, Rossman, przystanek tramwajowy w obie strony – 6 przystanków do Centralnego, co było dla nas bardzo istotne przy typowym zwiedzaniu Warszawy. W apartamencie jest wszystko, co potrzebne jest na co dzień. Wyposażenie w kuchni, pralka, suszarka, żelazko z deską do prasowania, odkurzacz – no niczego nam nie brakowało. Do tego dobry kontakt z gospodarzem, przekazanie kluczy jasne i proste, w bloku cisza i spokój. Ponadto klimatyzacja, internet, telewizja ze sporym wachlarzem kanałów. Jestem bardzo zadowolona, na pewno tu wrócimy.

  El piso estaba perfectamente limpio y preparado para estar como en casa. Uno de los mejores alojamientos que hemos tenido en los últimos 10 años viajando por Europa.
  Muy luminoso, con muchas ventanas y con varias orientaciones.
  El barrio es muy interesante, tanto históricamente como por los pequeños negocios y un nuevo centro comercial muy completo a 10 minutos. El centro histórico está a algo más de 15 minutos.
  El apartamento nos sorprendió muy positivamente¡ nos encantaría volver

  Bardzo udane zwiedzanie Warszawy z dziećmi dzięki bliskości przystanków,1-2 min pieszo.Zielona okolica, po drugiej stronie ulicy dyskont, apteka. Apartament przytulny, czysty, zaopatrzony w każdą niezbędna rzecz dla gości, a nawet więcej.
