You know what caught me off guard about this place? I was expecting just another basic apartment rental in Warsaw, but Apartament na Powiślu actually has some serious character to it. The Powiśle neighborhood itself is this cool mix of old Warsaw charm and new development – honestly, it’s one of those areas that feels like it’s still figuring out what it wants to be, which somehow makes it more interesting.

The apartment itself is pretty straightforward (it’s a 3-star place, so don’t expect marble countertops), but whoever set this up clearly knows what travelers actually need. The kitchen has proper coffee-making equipment – not just some sad instant packets – and there’s enough space to spread out your stuff without living out of a suitcase. I mean, the furniture isn’t going to win any design awards, but it’s comfortable and functional. What really impressed me was how quiet it stays at night, considering you’re in the city. The windows do their job, and you’re not dealing with street noise keeping you up. The shower pressure is actually decent too, which… well, anyone who’s stayed in budget places around Europe knows that’s not always a given.

Location-wise, you’re walking distance to the Vistula riverbank, which is perfect for morning runs or just wandering around when you need a break from the city streets. There’s this whole riverside path that locals use for cycling and jogging – it’s one of those things you don’t really hear about in guidebooks but ends up being a highlight. The tram connections are solid too, so getting to Old Town or the main shopping areas doesn’t require any complicated transfers. I noticed a bunch of small cafés and restaurants popping up in the area – nothing too fancy, but the kind of neighborhood spots where you can grab a proper Polish breakfast without the tourist markup. The 9.0 rating makes sense once you spend a few days there; it’s not luxury, but everything works like it should, the place is clean, and honestly, the whole experience just feels… reliable. Sometimes that’s exactly what you want when you’re exploring a new city.

  Emplacement idéal, à 15 minutes à pied de la vieille ville. Le lit est confortable, le logement bien chauffé. De plus l'arrivée s'est passée sans problème. Les instructions étaient claires et comme j'étais au téléphone avec l'hôte, nous n'avons raccroché qu'une fois que j'étais bien arrivée dans l'appartement.
