You know what struck me first about this place? The name is a mouthful – Apartament nad Wisłą spacerem do centrum i Starego Miasta – but it’s actually pretty accurate. I mean, you really can walk to both the center and Old Town from here, though honestly, it’s more of a pleasant 20-minute stroll across the Vistula than a quick hop. The apartment sits on Sierakowskiego Street in Praga Północ, which I’ll admit sounds intimidating if you’ve heard the old stories about this district, but this part has really cleaned up nicely over the past few years. The building itself is one of those solid pre-war structures that somehow survived everything Warsaw went through – you can tell from the thick walls and high ceilings the moment you step inside.

What I really appreciated was how quiet it gets at night, especially considering you’re still technically in the city. There’s something about being on the Praga side that buffers you from all the tourist chaos happening across the river. The apartment has these big windows that actually open (thank god, because Polish summers can be brutal), and you get glimpses of the Vistula through the trees if you crane your neck just right. The furnishing is that modern-but-not-sterile style that actually works – clean lines, decent lighting, and a kitchen that’s properly equipped, not just for show. I made coffee every morning using their machine, which was surprisingly good quality. The bathroom has one of those rainfall showerheads that actually has decent water pressure, and the towels were thick enough that I didn’t feel like I was drying off with paper.

Honestly, the location grows on you the longer you stay. Sure, you’re not stumbling out your door into Market Square, but you’re getting a much more authentic slice of Warsaw life. There’s a small grocery store about two blocks down that stays open late, and the walk into Old Town takes you right along the riverbank – I actually started looking forward to it each day. The tram connections are solid too, though I found myself walking more than I expected because the route is genuinely pleasant. Parking was easier than I thought it would be, which is saying something for Warsaw. The building has a proper entry system that works smoothly, and the host was responsive when I had a question about the wifi (which, by the way, was fast enough for video calls). The 9.4 rating makes sense to me – it’s not luxury, but it’s thoughtfully done and the kind of place where everything just works the way it should. I’d definitely book it again, especially if I wanted to experience Warsaw beyond the main tourist bubble.

She also gave me the opportunity to stay in the apartment longer without paying. The next day after check-out until 15:00 because I had a late flight, Keeping clean, an extra towel, there were four of them, very high-quality repair. Powder for the washing machine and dishwasher were also. Nice apartment. Nice apartment with all the amenities and in a very good location near the canal with a beautiful view, respectively, there are shops, you can eat, drink coffee, drink wine and whiskey, everything is very wonderful, the area is good, you can walk to the city center along the bridge over the Visla in 25 minutes

  The host was incredibly friendly and communicative, which made my stay even more enjoyable. The apartment had so many thoughtful personal touches, and everything I could possibly need was provided—from washing machine tablets, kitchen roll, tea, sugar, oil and salt, to good-quality shampoo and body wash. It was clear that the host went above and beyond to ensure I had everything I needed for a comfortable stay.
  
  What could be improved: Unfortunately, the dishwasher wasn’t working when I arrived. It appeared that someone had packed it with dirty dishes, started it, and left, but then it broke down. As a result, the dishes were still dirty, and there was an unpleasant smell. However, it didn't seem to be the host's fault. The one thing I would suggest for improvement is the rainfall shower head, which didn’t seem to be working properly and appeared to be broken.

  What could be improved: Możliwość wykupienia zadaszonego miejsca parkingowego byłaby dobrym dodatkiem. Aczkolwiek w okolicy bez problemu znaleźliśmy parking w cenie opisanej w ofercie. Dlatego plus dla gospodarzy za dobre poinformowanie.

  What could be improved: Jedyny problem jaki napotkaliśmy był z odbiorem kluczy, bo nie było ochroniarza na recepcji, ale po kontakcie telefonicznym udało się go spotkać.
