Overview
First Impressions
Walking up to Apartament One by Your Freedom, you immediately get that “I’m in the thick of things” feeling that makes Warsaw so exciting. This four-star property sits right on Marszałkowska — one of the city’s main arteries — and honestly, the location couldn’t be better if you tried. I mean, you’re literally in Śródmieście, which is Warsaw’s beating heart, and everything you want to see is within walking distance.
Location & Neighborhood
Here’s what I love about this spot — you step outside and boom, you’re surrounded by cafés, shops, and that constant buzz of city life. The Palace of Culture and Science is practically next door, and the Old Town is just a pleasant stroll away. What really struck me is how couples seem to gravitate toward this place (they rate the location 9.2, which honestly makes perfect sense). There’s something romantic about being able to wander through Łazienki Park in the afternoon, then grab dinner at one of the trendy spots along Nowy Świat without needing any transport.
The Apartment Experience
Now, this isn’t your typical hotel room situation — you’re getting a proper apartment setup, which changes everything about how you experience the city. The space feels like you’re actually living in Warsaw rather than just visiting. You know what I really appreciated? Having a proper kitchen meant I could grab fresh bread from the local bakery and make coffee the way I like it in the morning. It’s those little freedoms that make a difference when you’re staying somewhere for more than just a night or two.
Practical Comforts
The building itself has that solid, no-nonsense Warsaw architecture that I find oddly comforting. Everything works as it should — the heating keeps you warm during those chilly Polish evenings, and the windows do a decent job of keeping the street noise manageable (though honestly, being on Marszałkowska means you’ll hear some city sounds, which I actually found kind of charming). The 8.4 rating makes sense when you experience how smoothly everything operates — it’s not flashy, but it’s reliable and well-maintained.
Why Guests Love It
What keeps people coming back is that perfect balance of independence and location. You get your own space to spread out and live like a local, but you’re also positioned to dive into Warsaw’s cultural scene whenever the mood strikes. I watched people from my window heading to the National Theatre in the evening, then saw the same streets fill up with early morning commuters — there’s something energizing about being part of that daily rhythm. The fact that couples consistently rate this place so highly tells you everything about the romantic potential of having Warsaw as your backyard while maintaining your own private retreat.
Early hotels booking in Warsaw requires advance planning during peak cultural seasons when visitors flock to see the city’s remarkable reconstruction story and vibrant arts scene.

The location is very good, the apartment is simple, maybe it needs repairs, but we did not come to live in the apartment, but to see the city.
