Honestly, I wasn’t sure what to expect when I booked Apartament Oszmiańska – I mean, Targówek isn’t exactly the first district that comes to mind when you think Warsaw, right? But you know what, this place completely surprised me. It’s tucked away on this quiet residential street that feels refreshingly normal after all the tourist chaos in the Old Town. The apartment itself is way more spacious than most Warsaw accommodations I’ve stayed in, and there’s something really satisfying about having an actual kitchen where you can make proper coffee in the morning instead of those tiny hotel packets. The owner was super responsive too – I had this whole drama with my flight getting delayed, and they were totally cool about the late check-in, which honestly saved my entire trip.

What I really loved about staying here is how it puts you right in the middle of actual Warsaw life. There’s this fantastic little bakery just two streets over on Malborska that does these incredible pączki (get there early though, they sell out fast), and the Biedronka supermarket is literally a three-minute walk if you need groceries. The tram connections are actually brilliant from here – line 23 gets you to the city center in about twenty minutes, and it runs pretty frequently even in the evenings. I spent one morning just wandering around the neighborhood and stumbled across this gorgeous park, Bródnowski, that barely any tourists know about. Perfect for a jog or just sitting with a book when you need a break from sightseeing.

The apartment itself feels like staying at a friend’s place rather than some sterile hotel room. Everything’s clean and well-maintained, the WiFi actually works properly (crucial for me since I was working remotely part of the time), and the shower has decent water pressure – you’d be amazed how many places in Warsaw mess that up. It gets pretty quiet at night, which was perfect for sleeping, though you do hear the occasional tram rumbling by in the early morning. The only minor thing I’d mention is that the building entrance can be a bit tricky to find the first time – it’s sort of tucked back from the street – but once you figure it out, no problem. For the price point and that 9.1 rating, I totally get why people keep coming back here. It’s one of those places that makes you feel like you’re actually living in Warsaw for a few days instead of just passing through as another tourist.

  Nice apartment to stay for a few days. Had everything you need: towels, bed linen, sugar, dishes. The sofa in the living room folds out. New house, there is parking near the house.
  
  What could be improved: Suggestions for owners to improve service. Replace the kettle, it has a chip on it, and clear the blockage in the bathroom sink. The water in the shower is barely warm, but not hot.

  What could be improved: Szkoda że przy wynajmie dla 4 osób nie było w mieszkaniu 4 ręczników. Przydałyby się również jakieś podstawowe rzeczy do sprzątnięcia po sobie, np. Ręcznik papierowy, spray i ścierki do kurzu, ale nie nazwałabym tego minusem, tylko sugestią 😁

  Отличные апартаменты. Есть просторный балкон. Комфортные кровать и диван. Чистое постельное белье (в количестве 4 подушки и 4 одеяла). Полностью оборудованная кухня со всей необходимой кухонной утварью. Так же имеется другая техника, телевизор, стиральная машина, пылесос, утюг, фен. Доступны капсулы для стирки и посудомойки. Так же на объекте были средства и приспособления для уборки.
