Hotel Description
You know what caught me off guard about Apartament Plac Zbawiciela? It’s actually in this perfect sweet spot where you feel like you’re living in Warsaw rather than just visiting it. I mean, the address says Armii Ludowej, but you’re literally a two-minute walk from Plac Zbawiciela itself – and if you’ve never been to this square, it’s honestly one of those places where locals actually hang out. There’s this great energy, especially in the evenings when people spill out from the cafes and bars. The apartment building itself is one of those classic Warsaw blocks that somehow manages to feel both historic and lived-in, if that makes sense. When I first walked up (the entrance is a bit tucked away, so don’t feel bad if you walk past it initially), I was pleasantly surprised by how quiet it was inside despite being right in Śródmieście.
The apartment itself really delivers on that 4-star promise – everything’s been thoughtfully updated without losing character. The kitchen actually has proper equipment, not those sad hotel kitchenettes with a broken coffee maker and one fork. I ended up cooking a few meals because, honestly, there’s something nice about picking up groceries from the little shops nearby and having a proper breakfast before heading out. The bed was comfortable enough that I didn’t wake up with that hotel-bed backache, and the wifi was solid (I had some work calls that went smoothly). One thing I appreciated – the windows are good quality, so even though you’re in the heart of the city, street noise wasn’t really an issue. Though I’ll mention that weekend evenings can get a bit livelier since the nightlife scene around Plac Zbawiciela is pretty active, but it’s more of a pleasant urban hum than anything disruptive.
What really sold me on this place was how it connects to the rest of Warsaw. You can walk to the Palace of Culture in about fifteen minutes, or catch the metro at Politechnika station when your feet get tired. But honestly, some of my best discoveries happened just wandering the immediate neighborhood – there’s this fantastic pierogi place on Mokotowska that I stumbled across, and the vintage shops along the way are actually worth browsing. The area feels safe day and night, with good street lighting and plenty of people around. Check-in was refreshingly straightforward too – none of that awkward waiting around in a lobby, just clear instructions and responsive communication. For the price point and that 8.6 rating, it really does deliver. I mean, it’s not luxury in the marble-and-chandeliers sense, but it’s the kind of place where you settle in quickly and start planning your next visit to Warsaw before you’ve even checked out.

Location was great. All interesting objects were easily reachable. We used Bolt taxi.
An apartment needs repairing but it was clean and nicely decorated for festive time.
What could be improved: The main problem was parking. We could leave the car only three streets away from the property. And the price was different from that which was written in the description. 62 zlots it costed per day.
And other thing which we would like to mention- the host who was very irresponsible when we called to ask about the parking. He didn’t suggest any possibility to park somewhere nearer or to be polite and helpful. And when we told that the price was much higher than he wrote, he suggested to go somewhere else.Well located apartment with the basic needs provided. – Anna from Netherlands – September 13, 2024 (7/10)
Good location, easily accessible by public transport and good connection with the airport.
What could be improved: There were no curtains in the windows, which makes the sun go in from early morning also no privacy with light on in the evening. The stay was extremely troubling. – Shu from Canada – August 22, 2023 (1/10)
What could be improved: Do not be deceived by the interior of this apartment. When we checked in, we had immense difficulties of parking our car, but this is only the minor issue. Firstly, the wifi is extraordinarily problematic, because it was constantly switching on and off. Secondly, the shower is even more displeasing and to an extent almost not operational. The switch of the shower is broken and the sink hole of the shower is stuffed. We usually have to take very quick shower because of the stuffed pipe and usually had to wait for 30 minutes for the water to fully go away. In conclusion, we had negative experience and the stay was horrendous, and we do not recommend this apartment if you are staying in Warsaw.
