The metro connection is genuinely useful (not just marketing speak), and I mean genuinely useful for getting around without dealing with traffic. I found myself using it way more than I thought I would. The space is well thought out too – actual counter space in the kitchen, decent water pressure in the shower, and windows that actually open properly. Small things, but they add up when you’re staying somewhere for more than a night or two.

What really got me though was how quiet it stays at night. You’d think being near the metro would mean constant noise, but the soundproofing is actually solid. I’m someone who usually needs earplugs in hotels, but I slept through the night without them here. The neighborhood has this nice rhythm to it – busy enough during the day that you’ve got plenty of food options and shops within walking distance, but it settles down in the evenings. There’s a little bakery about two blocks over that locals seem to love (always a good sign), and honestly, their morning coffee became part of my daily routine. The 9.5 rating makes total sense once you’re there – it’s not trying to be fancy, but everything just works the way it should, which is rarer than you’d think.
