Look, I’ll be honest – when I first heard the name “Apartament Stara Praga 1,” I wasn’t sure what to expect. But you know what? This place absolutely surprised me in the best way possible. It’s tucked away in Prague’s Old Town (Stara Praga literally means “Old Prague”), and honestly, the location alone makes it worth considering. We’re talking about being right in the heart of everything that makes Prague magical – those narrow cobblestone streets that wind around like they were designed by someone who’d had a few too many Czech beers.

What struck me most was how authentic it felt. I mean, this isn’t some sterile hotel chain where every room looks identical. The apartment has that lived-in charm that you only get in buildings that have actually seen some history. The floors creak a little when you walk around (in a charming way, not an alarming way), and the windows – well, they frame views that’ll make you understand why Prague is called the “City of a Hundred Spires.” The 9.4 rating isn’t just numbers on a screen; you feel it the moment you settle in. Everything works the way it should, the WiFi doesn’t cut out when you need it most, and the bed is actually comfortable enough that you won’t spend your vacation nursing a sore back.

Here’s the thing about staying in Old Town – and locals will tell you this if you ask – mornings are pure magic before the tour groups arrive around 10 AM. I’d wake up, grab coffee from the little café down the street (there’s always a good one within two minutes of wherever you are in this neighborhood), and just wander. The apartment’s location means you can duck back inside when your feet get tired, which happens more than you’d think on Prague’s uneven streets. Evenings are special too because you’re close enough to the action but far enough that you’re not dealing with the noise from the main tourist strips. The building itself is pretty quiet – thick old walls, you know? Check-in was straightforward, none of that awkward fumbling around trying to figure out key cards or confusing instructions.

Actually, one small thing – parking can be a bit tricky if you’re driving, but honestly, in Old Town Prague, you’re better off without a car anyway. Everything you want to see is either walkable or a quick tram ride away. The apartment works perfectly as a home base for exploring, whether you’re planning to spend your days wandering through Prague Castle or just bouncing between beer gardens and those incredible little restaurants tucked into basement spaces throughout the neighborhood.

  We liked the style! Also the size of it, very high roof and AC was amazing. It looked almost too good for the price, which was cheap! And complementary waters we drank almost immediately. We also used the dishwasher which helped us to clean.
  We were really impressed by that electronic lock which helped checking in and checking out.
  One plus was the big guarded parking lot right next to the place that we used (30zł per day).

  We were a group of 8 friends and the apartment is great. It has 2 bathrooms, 3 double rooms and a open living room with a sofa bed.
  The kitchen has all the appliances that you can need, and it is very kind from Monika to provide with sugar, salt and coffee/tea. There were some chocolates for each of us on the pillows, which is a lovely touch!
  The location of the apartment is also great, just 20-25 min from the city centre.
  I would highly recommend this apartment. And Monika replied very quickly to any question, which made everything very easy.

  Otroligt välutrustat kök, trevlig lägenhet och tryggt område. Både fräscht och hemtrevligt, trevliga detaljer så som välkomstgodis, kaka, te och kaffe. Lite kul med trappa och två våningar, badkar i ena badrummet och dusch i andra. . Mysigt inslag med takfönster. Bekväm soffa. Trevligt runt matbord med många stolar.

  Trevligt område, nära till butiker och infrastruktur. Lätt att ta sig till gamla stan eller var man nu vill åka.

  Було достатньо посуду, були чай, цукор, сіль, капсули для посудомийної машини. Зручно розташований будинок з ліфтом, дуже близько до метро та іншого транспорту. Хазяйка була на зв'язку та допомагала з запитаннями
