Apartament Świętokrzyska by Your Freedom Overview

First Impressions

Walking up to Apartament Świętokrzyska by Your Freedom on one of Warsaw’s busiest streets, you might wonder if you’ve got the right address. But honestly, that’s exactly what makes this place special — you’re literally in the thick of everything while staying in what feels like a proper local apartment. The building itself has that classic Warsaw charm, and once you’re inside, you realize you’ve scored something pretty unique for a four-star property.

The Heart of Warsaw

I mean, when couples rate the location 9.9 out of 10, you know something’s working. Świętokrzyska Street puts you right where Warsaw actually happens — not in some tourist bubble, but where locals grab coffee and head to work. You can walk to the Palace of Culture in about five minutes, and the metro station is practically next door. What I love is that you’re close enough to everything important, but the room itself feels like a quiet retreat from all the city energy happening just outside your window.

Living Like a Local

The apartment setup is what really sets this place apart from your typical hotel experience. You’ve got a proper kitchen — not some sad mini-fridge situation — which actually matters when you want to grab fresh bread from the bakery downstairs or store some of those amazing Polish pastries you’ll inevitably buy too many of. The space feels lived-in but polished, like staying at a friend’s place who happens to have really good taste. There’s enough room to spread out, and the windows let in plenty of natural light during those short winter days.

The Neighborhood Vibe

What you’ll notice pretty quickly is how this area works for different types of travelers. During the day, Świętokrzyska buzzes with office workers and shoppers, but it settles into something more relaxed by evening. There’s a good mix of traditional Polish spots and newer places — you know, the kind of neighborhood where you can get pierogi at a family-run place or try some trendy fusion restaurant depending on your mood. The location score of 9.8 isn’t just marketing speak; it’s because you can actually walk to most things you’d want to see without feeling like you’re constantly commuting.

Why Guests Love It

The freedom aspect (clever name, right?) really comes through in how this place operates. You’re not dealing with hotel lobby schedules or breakfast times — you set your own rhythm. Parking can be tricky in this part of Warsaw, but honestly, you won’t need a car much from this location anyway. The 8.3 rating reflects what I experienced: it’s not trying to be the fanciest place in town, but it delivers on what matters most — comfort, location, and that feeling of actually experiencing Warsaw rather than just visiting it. For the price point and the freedom to live a bit like a local, it’s a solid choice that couples especially seem to appreciate.

Reviews of Apartament Świętokrzyska by Your Freedom

  • Good – Thappa from Poland – July 4, 2025 (7/10)

    Location is good

  • Very Good – Puneet from Poland – January 16, 2025 (8/10)

THe biggest asset of the property is its central location with great views of the Warsaw skyline. Overall the property has all the amenities that are required for short and comfortable stay.

What could be improved: The Bathroom door handle was very tight and should be fixed

  • Apt not taken care of – S from Malta – January 5, 2025 (3/10)

    Washing machine and dishwasher

What could be improved: Coffee machine leaks, got locked in the bathroom and it appears to have happened to others as the lock is torn, unclean and not maintained at all (pictures must be of the begining and far from current state!) A lot of the lights didn't even get bulbs replaced so it was dark. Windows do not seal sound. Bad smell. Not recommended.

  • Fair – Chris from United Kingdom – November 26, 2024 (5/10)

The location was fantastic, and Warsaw itself was absolutely amazing!

What could be improved: The accommodation appears tired and in need of an update. The coffee machine had stagnant, dirty water inside, emitting an unpleasant smell and requiring immediate cleaning. Most concerning was a persistent sewage odor originating from the bathroom, which eventually spread throughout the apartment, creating a very unpleasant atmosphere. Despite contacting the owner about the issue, I received no response. These matters need urgent attention to improve the guest experience. Hence why I've marked it as a 5.0.

  • A well spent weekend 🙂 – Joy from Poland – September 11, 2024 (10/10)

The place is just in front of the Palace of Culture and Science and less than 10 minutes to walk to train of Central Warsaw and all other tourist spot like old town etc. Tram or bus is everywhere. Supermarket and restaurants are very close. The apartment is well equipped and clean. The host is nice and helpful. I had a chance to check in earlier which I am happy after a long day trip.

What could be improved: It was too noisy outside, I didn't sleep as I am a light sleeper but its Saturday evening and it's already expected and for a weekend trip is not that bad 🙂

  • Great place for stay in Warszawa! – Ivan from North Macedonia – June 9, 2024 (9/10)

    Clean, nice facilities.
Great location, just opposite of the Palace of culture and direct balcony view on it, 5 min walk from the Central Railway station/Zlote Tarasy mall, about 25 min walk from the Old Town or Lazienki park, 15 min from Nowy Swiat where you can find nice beer bars.
Also great public transport provided nearby by bus, metro etc.

What could be improved: Couldn't find something to dislike 🙂

  • Very Good – Gianpaolo_f from Italy – October 30, 2023 (8/10)

Great Position, great comunication with host, apartment very good with all the comfort

What could be improved: Bathroom was ok and clean but unfortunately with sewer smell

  • Great choice for a short stay (if you don’t have big luggage) – Hanna from Ukraine – May 25, 2023 (9/10)

Amazing view! Located just in the city center. Apartment contains all the needful.

What could be improved: It was hard to open a key box. Smell in the bathroom (not so critical).

  • Great value for money – Midhun from Poland – March 25, 2023 (9/10)

Great location, clean, beautiful, and great value for money.

What could be improved: I had to walk a bit to reach there and the elevator is not going to the top floor.

  • Warsaw 1-bedroom apartment. – Wutson from Poland – March 14, 2023 (9/10)

Flat in the heart of Warsaw with a fantastic view and foot distance from all main city attractions.
Perfect for 2 people but might be a little bit smaller for 4.

What could be improved: The beds are a little bit old.
