Hotel Description
Honestly, I wasn’t sure what to expect when I booked Apartament Warecka – I mean, apartment-style hotels can be hit or miss, you know? But this little gem on Warecka Street actually surprised me in the best way. The building itself has that classic Warsaw character (it’s in Śródmieście, so you’re getting the real deal here), and while the entrance is pretty understated, once you’re inside apartment 86, it feels like you’ve got your own little Warsaw home base. The space is way more generous than typical hotel rooms – there’s actually room to spread out your stuff without living out of a suitcase, which I appreciated after a few days of sightseeing. What really got me was how quiet it stays despite being right in the city center. I was worried about street noise, but the windows do their job well, and honestly, Warecka isn’t one of those crazy busy streets anyway.
The location is where this place really shines, though. You’re literally a five-minute walk from the Royal Castle – I timed it because I’m nerdy like that – and the Old Town is right there when you want that postcard-perfect Warsaw experience. But here’s what the guidebooks don’t tell you: you’re also super close to some fantastic local spots that tourists usually miss. There’s this little café around the corner that does incredible pierogi (way better than the touristy places), and the small grocery store down the street saved me multiple times when I needed snacks or forgot to pack something. Getting around is dead simple too – the metro connections are solid, and if you’re into walking like I am, pretty much everything worth seeing is within reasonable distance. I actually ended up walking to Łazienki Park one afternoon, which sounds far but really isn’t bad at all.
What I really respect about this place is that it doesn’t try to be something it’s not. It’s a solid 3-star spot that delivers exactly what you’d hope for – clean, comfortable, well-equipped, and the kind of place where you can actually relax after a long day of exploring. The kitchen setup is legit functional (not just for show), which meant I could grab fresh bread and make proper coffee in the morning instead of hunting for overpriced hotel breakfast. The rating of 8.5 makes total sense to me – it’s not luxury, but it’s thoughtfully done and genuinely comfortable. Check-in was smooth, the host was helpful without being pushy, and honestly, the whole experience just felt… easy. Sometimes that’s exactly what you want when you’re trying to get to know a city like Warsaw. I’d definitely stay here again, especially if I was planning a longer trip where having actual living space would matter.

Tasteful and well-equipped small apartment in the heart of Warsaw. – Adrienn from Hungary – July 28, 2025 (10/10)
Simple but tasteful furnishings, comfortable beds and bed linen, and good kitchenware.
What could be improved: The blackout curtain could be darker, it's hard to sleep with the street lights on.Fantastic location downtown Warszawa. – Andreas from Norway – July 9, 2025 (9/10)
Extremely well located, high value, practical arrangement for six people, coffee and small articles made us feel cared for.
What could be improved: The parking could be a trap, as there are plenty of spaced in the courtyard, but you won't be allowed to exit the next day once you slip through the open gate at night.A good place to spend a night in Warsaw, can be noisy with open windows. – Eugenijus from Lithuania – June 30, 2025 (8/10)
Good location and everything was prepared for our family to have a good night sleep
What could be improved: The noise from the street was very loud almost all night. Not directly a fault of the property, but should be considered, since you have to close the windows to block most of the sound. We booked as emergency due to a flight's cancellation and find the flat very good for a night stay, with plenty of s – Maurizio from Italy – May 12, 2025 (8/10)
Close to city centre and lots of shops around
What could be improved: Next to busy street, windows not soundproof then quite noisy at every hour.A little gem.. – Kirsten from Denmark – May 6, 2025 (10/10)
