You know what? I was honestly a bit skeptical when I first booked Apartament Warszawa Centrum Helvetia Plus – I mean, that’s quite a mouthful of a name, right? But it turned out to be one of those pleasant surprises that makes you feel like you actually know what you’re doing when it comes to travel. The location on Bartoszewicza street is pretty sweet – you’re right in Śródmieście, which locals will tell you is the real heart of Warsaw, not just tourist central. I could walk to the Palace of Culture in about ten minutes (though honestly, who wants to rush toward that Soviet monstrosity), and more importantly, there’s this fantastic little pierogi place called Zapiecek just around the corner that saved me from hotel breakfast more than once.

The apartment itself feels lived-in rather than sterile, if that makes sense. It’s got that slightly worn-around-the-edges charm that three-star places do well when they’re not trying too hard to be fancy. The kitchen actually works – I made coffee every morning and even attempted some pasta one evening when I was too tired to venture out. The bed was comfortable enough, though the pillows were a bit soft for my taste (I’m picky about that stuff). What I really appreciated was how quiet it gets at night, especially considering you’re smack in the middle of the city. Sure, you’ll hear some trams rumbling by in the early morning, but it’s more of a gentle urban lullaby than anything jarring. The WiFi was solid too, which matters when you’re trying to figure out whether the National Museum is worth the trek or if you should just wander around Łazienki Park instead.

Check-in was refreshingly straightforward – no pretentious lobby nonsense, just practical efficiency that gets you to your room without drama. The building has that classic Warsaw apartment block feel, which I actually found charming after staying in too many cookie-cutter hotels lately. Parking can be a bit of a puzzle if you’re driving (street parking is hit-or-miss, and locals guard those spots like treasure), but honestly, you don’t need a car here anyway. The metro station at Centrum is close enough, and the whole Old Town area is totally walkable. I spent most afternoons just wandering through the reconstructed medieval streets, then coming back to decompress in the apartment before heading out for dinner. For the price point and that 8.2 rating, it delivers exactly what it promises – a comfortable base in central Warsaw without any unnecessary frills or inflated expectations. Sometimes that’s exactly what you need.

  What could be improved: I would nor recommend this property it was one of the worst experience we ever had. The price is similar to normal apartment, but ir is not worth at all. It was very cold in rooms- we needed to sleep with clothes. Beds were not comfortable at all- mattress are dated. Towels were interesting color, more grey than white- actual color suppose to be white. And the worst was cigarette smell in rooms- someone smoked in this room before our stay and was smoking in neighborhood rooms during our stay.

  Duży pokój plus sypialnia. Kuchnia wyposażona chyba we wszystko co potrzebowałam. Na korytarzu deska i żelazko.
  Śniadanie skromne ale jest. Niestety w naszym przypadku w drugim budynku. Byliśmy z trójką dzieci, więc szykowanie się w zimę żeby przejść na śniadanie do drugiego budynku trochę problematyczne.
  Samo centrum, wszystkie atrakcje zaliczaliśmy na nogach (centrum nauki Kopernik, zamek królewski, pałac kultury itp)

  Гарне місцерозташування, все в пішій доступності. Заселення з 15, виселення о 11 годині. Ми приїхали о 14, офіс, в якому потрібно брати ключ знаходиться недалеко. Там нам запропонували почекати, відігрітися, пригостили кавою. Потім адміністратор провела до номера. Номер чистий, світлий, гарний, все згідно опису. В номері чиста постіль, рушники, зубні щітки, шампунь, водичка, навіть, цукерочки, приємно) Парковка платна поруч.

  Przyzwoite mieszkanie w pobliżu Starego Miasta, mieszkanie przygotowane i wyposażone w najpotrzebniejsze rzeczy jak ręcznik, szampon jednorazowy i zameldowanie jest możliwe o każdej porze w recepcji.
