Hotel Description

Look, I’ll be honest with you – Apartamenty Aleje Jerozolimskie isn’t going to win any design awards, but it’s actually a pretty solid choice if you know what you’re getting into. The location on Aleje Jerozolimskie is… well, it’s interesting. You’re technically in the Wlochy district, which means you’re a bit removed from the touristy Old Town chaos, but that’s not necessarily a bad thing. I mean, you can hop on the metro at Pole Mokotowskie (it’s maybe a 10-minute walk) and be in the center in no time. The street itself is one of those wide Warsaw arteries that never really sleeps – there’s always some traffic humming by, though the windows do a decent job of keeping the noise manageable if you’re a light sleeper.

The apartments themselves have that Eastern European practical vibe going on. Nothing fancy, but everything works, you know? The kitchenettes are actually useful – not just those sad hotel mini-fridges with a hot plate. I was surprised by how much counter space there was, and honestly, after eating pierogi for three days straight, being able to make a simple pasta dinner was kind of a relief. The Wi-Fi is solid (I was working remotely part of the time), and the beds are… well, they’re fine. Not amazing, not terrible. The whole place has this slightly institutional feel – think modern student housing rather than boutique hotel – but it’s clean and the heating works well, which in Warsaw winters is basically all that matters.

What I really appreciated was how the staff just let you do your thing. Check-in was straightforward, no hovering or overselling of services you don’t need. There’s a small grocery store literally across the street, and if you walk about five minutes toward the city center, you’ll hit this little cluster of restaurants that locals actually use – not tourist traps. The area gets pretty quiet after 9 PM, which was perfect for me, though if you’re looking for nightlife within stumbling distance, you’ll want to venture closer to the center. Parking was surprisingly easy to find on the side streets, though I’d probably skip having a car altogether next time since the public transport connections are actually pretty good from here. The 7.1 rating feels about right – it’s not going to blow your mind, but for the price point and if you want a bit more space than a typical hotel room, it does the job well. Just don’t expect anyone to hold your hand or provide those little chocolate mints on your pillow.

Reviews

  • Do not expect the host to do anything beyond the minimum for you here. – Ken from Canada – September 11, 2024 (8/10)

The apartment was very comfortable and well appointed. It was nice having an elevator to get to the second floor. It was a newer building and clean. Quiet location.

What could be improved: The host did not respond to any of my requests once I had paid for the accommodation – in fact I would say that the host actively ignored my requests for information and forced me to ask repeatedly for basic information. One example was that I specifically chose this property because they offered an airport shuttle. I requested this service by three different means, through Booking.com, SMS, and email without response. When I finally called (having to activate my expensive North American roaming plan in the process) I was told that they did not offer a shuttle and it was my problem to sort out. As the property is very isolated this was a major problem as the closest bus stop was 900 m away. Further, Taxi companies did not want to dispatch a cab to the address. I had to hitchhike to the airport as a consequence.

  • When you just need to have a sleep somewhere near the airport – this is a good choise – Oksana from Ukraine – April 19, 2024 (7/10)

I liked the flexibility. I could arrive at any time and when leaving the room – just closed the door and didn't need to wait for anyone in the reception.
    Also, the room was clean.

What could be improved: When I arrived, I had to wait for the guy in reception for 15 minutes. I was hungry, so wanted to check in very fast.
Also, WiFi password was not written in an obvious place, so had to find that guy again to receive the PW.
Also, there is no close place to eat (no close restaurants to the apartment), but I could order a delivery via UberEats.

  • Good – Mariia from Ukraine – March 22, 2024 (7/10)

What could be improved: It was hard to check in. It’s impossible for person who doesn’t speak Polish or English. Also my dad didn’t have a chance to call manager to ask check in instructions. Really strange situation, you just can see the door but can not get inside

  • Not what I hoped for. – Dominika from Switzerland – January 27, 2025 (6/10)

Place was clean, had everything what’s needed for one night stay.

What could be improved: Was difficult to find the main entrance to the building. The car couldn’t go through the blockade. The place advertises itself as 7 min from the airport and that it has an airport shuttle. the truth is that the building is located over 15 min from the airport on a road with no traffic. and the airport shuttle is bolt which the owner could order for 50PLN

  • The quality is worth the price – Kristina from Poland – September 14, 2024 (6/10)

Nice comfortable bathroom with a bathtub

What could be improved: The temperature in the room was really low even after I set it on Max

  • Very Good – Schneider from Denmark – March 18, 2024 (8/10)

The view, facilities, design of the room, kitchen

What could be improved: The shower heads were not properly washed, spray different directions during showers. Missing hand soap on entrance. Tv box and tv signals with polish speaking translator was just awful, not worth watching movies, and the receptionist on ground floor looked as if he didnt want to work there.. 🥸

  • Quite alright for a couple’s weekend stay a little bit outside of city centre. – Dawid from Sweden – November 14, 2022 (8/10)

modern room, comfy sofa as a bed, ok wi-fi, nice bathroom!

What could be improved: hard for ubers to find the location of the apartments.
no iron – had to borrow

  • Very Good – Ilona from United States – October 11, 2023 (8/10)

It had a tub a kitchen and hot water with great pressure.

What could be improved: The AC was broken. The room was too hot and the building is located near a major Highway so if opening the window the Miocene is unsettling. The pillows were too hard. The room wasn’t cleaned well the bed had bugs.

  • 4.5 🌟 – Eric from Ivory Coast – May 21, 2025 (10/10)

The bed was very comfortable 😌

What could be improved: I was hoping for wifi or even a tv.

  • Exceptional – Oksana from South Africa – September 27, 2024 (10/10)

Very clean, modern and affordable accommodation .
Close to all vicinity, and especially to International Airport.
    Apartment has all I need.
The check-in and out made in distance, what is very convenient.

What could be improved: No coffee or tea available
