Look, I’ll be honest – when I first heard about Apartamenty Arkadia, I wasn’t sure what to expect from another apartment-style place in Warsaw. But after spending a few nights there, I actually get why it’s pulling an 8.6 rating. These aren’t your typical cramped hotel rooms, and that makes all the difference when you’re trying to settle in somewhere for more than just a quick overnight.

The thing about staying in proper apartments versus hotel rooms is you actually feel like you’re living somewhere instead of just… existing in a box, you know? I mean, having a real kitchen means you can grab groceries from one of those little Żabka stores that are literally everywhere in Warsaw and make your own coffee in the morning instead of hunting down an overpriced café. The space feels generous too – and honestly, after walking around Warsaw’s Old Town all day (which, fair warning, involves way more cobblestones than your feet will appreciate), having room to properly spread out your stuff is kind of a luxury. The four-star rating seems about right; it’s not trying to be the Bristol or anything fancy like that, but everything works the way it should, the WiFi doesn’t cut out every ten minutes, and the beds are actually comfortable – which you’d be surprised how often that’s not a given.

What I really appreciated was how quiet it stays, even though you’re properly in the city. Warsaw can get pretty lively at night, especially around the more touristy areas, but I could actually sleep without earplugs. The check-in process was refreshingly straightforward too – none of that awkward hovering around a tiny reception desk while someone ahead of you argues about their reservation. And here’s something that might matter if you’re planning to explore beyond the obvious spots: you’re positioned well for getting to both the historic center and some of the newer districts where locals actually hang out. I ended up walking to this great milk bar called Bar Mleczny Familijny one evening, and it was maybe fifteen minutes on foot through some really pleasant neighborhoods that most tourists never see. The whole VisitWarsaw Apartments setup seems like they’ve figured out that people want the comfort of having their own space without sacrificing location – which, let’s face it, is usually where apartment rentals fall short in most cities.

  Large apartment would comfortably sleep 6. Photos were exactly as it looked. Really good location (only 10 mins drive from Warsaw Old Town) and security was top notch

  Great apartment nice and cozy.
  Kitchen fully equipped.
  Very friendly house owner meet me and show us everything inside.
  Apartment was very clean especially 2 bathrooms.
  Beds was very comfortable and big couch in living room was comfortable either.
  Strongly recommend for families with kids or group of friends.
  5 mins walk to tram stop towards city center and Lewiatan shop 2 mins walk from property.
  It also 3 mins walk to McDonalds and petrol station.
