Hotel Description
You know what? I was honestly skeptical about staying in Praga Północ at first – it’s not exactly the touristy part of Warsaw that everyone talks about – but Apartamenty Brzeska 10 completely changed my mind about this neighborhood. The building itself is this beautifully restored pre-war structure on a quiet residential street, and when you walk up to the first floor (that’s what “Piętro I” means, by the way), you immediately get why this place has such stellar ratings. The apartments are spacious in that old European way where rooms actually have character instead of feeling like generic hotel boxes. I mean, the ceilings are high, the windows are these gorgeous tall ones that let in tons of light, and there’s just something about the place that feels authentically Warsaw without being stuffy about it.
What really sold me on this spot was how it sits right in the heart of what locals call “the real Warsaw.” Brzeska street is lined with these charming cafés and small shops that you’d never find in a guidebook – I discovered this incredible pierogi place just two blocks down that became my daily breakfast ritual. The tram connections are actually fantastic from here; you can get to the Old Town or central Warsaw in about fifteen minutes, but when you come back in the evening, you’re in this peaceful residential area where you can hear birds instead of traffic. The host was incredibly helpful with local recommendations too – they told me about the weekend market on Różycki that happens just a short walk away, which honestly became one of my favorite discoveries of the whole trip.
I’ll be straight with you though – this isn’t a place where someone’s going to fold your towels into swan shapes or bring you room service at midnight. It’s an apartment-style setup, so you’re basically living like a local, which I absolutely loved. The kitchen was well-equipped enough that I could make proper coffee in the morning (essential for me), and there’s a washing machine which was a lifesaver for a longer stay. The WiFi was solid, the heating worked perfectly during my March visit when Warsaw was still pretty chilly, and honestly, the whole experience felt more like staying at a friend’s place than a typical hotel. The neighborhood gets quiet after about 10 PM, so if you’re looking for nightlife right outside your door, this might not be your spot – but if you want to experience Warsaw the way people actually live here, with easy access to everything but a peaceful retreat to come home to, then this place is pretty much perfect. Plus, at a 9.1 rating, clearly I’m not the only one who thinks so.
Apartments in Warsaw provide travelers with authentic local experiences, allowing them to explore traditional Polish markets and cook with regional culinary specialties.

The communication with the host was fast and clear. The location of the studio is very convenient- 7min walking to Warsaw East, 10-15min by tram to the city centre. 7min on feet to the huge supermarkets like Biedronka and Carrefour. There is a small grocery store, Zabka, right in the building.
