This place turned out to be exactly what I needed after three days of fighting crowds around the Old Town and dealing with overpriced hotel breakfasts that taste like cardboard. The apartments here actually feel like someone’s home, not some sterile corporate box. I mean, sure, it’s a 3-star setup so don’t expect marble everything, but the kitchen had proper pots and pans – not those flimsy things that barely heat water – and the bed was surprisingly comfortable. The whole building sits in this quiet residential area where you can actually hear birds in the morning instead of trams screeching at 6 AM.

What really sold me on this place was how genuinely local it feels. You’re about a 15-minute walk from Wawer train station, which honestly beats being stuck in traffic trying to get anywhere from the city center. The neighborhood has this lived-in vibe – there’s a decent grocery store just down the street where the cashier started chatting with me in broken English about the weather, and I spotted a few locals walking their dogs in the evening around the small park nearby. Parking was actually free (I know, shocking for Warsaw), though you might want to grab a spot early if you’re visiting during summer weekends when families come to visit the area. The check-in process was smooth enough – the host met me at the building and walked me through everything, including how to work the slightly temperamental shower (pro tip: turn the handle slowly or you’ll get blasted with either ice water or lava). One thing that surprised me was how quiet it gets at night. I’m used to city noise, but here you can actually sleep with the windows open, which was perfect during those stuffy August evenings.

But if you want a genuine slice of Warsaw life without the tourist markup, and you don’t mind being a bit outside the main action, Apartamenty Dobranoc delivers. The 8.6 rating makes sense once you factor in the value – I paid less for three nights here than I would for one night at those boutique places in Śródmieście, and honestly had a better experience. The WiFi worked perfectly for my work calls (always a gamble in apartment rentals), and having a proper kitchen meant I could grab fresh bread and cheese from the local market and actually enjoy breakfast instead of hunting for overpriced café options. Just keep in mind that you’ll want to plan your trips into central Warsaw – it’s not complicated, but it’s not like you can just walk to the Palace of Culture in five minutes either.

  What could be improved: What I didn’t like is the beds comfort and pillows are very thin we liked our stay but we didn’t sleep because off bed and pillows I rate with 3 and and the wall is from wood at evening was very cold in the house.

  Place was nice in the quiet neighbourhood, the host was very polite and friendly, and was fluent in English.
  Overall, the apartment was cosy and spacious for two people.
  
  What could be improved: We didn’t like the humidity in the room and also there was a certain smell. I think due to the humidity there was small insects running on the floor every evening. Also there is no ventilation in the apartment or in the toilet room also  radiators were not on and towels did not dry at all and they were wet throughout all our stay. In the evening, when we went to bed, it felt like even the bedsheets are kinda humid.  this room, needs a little bit of more ventilation and more heating in the bathroom and maybe this would solve the issue.
