The name actually tells you everything you need to know – it’s literally right on Piękna Street, which honestly translates to “Beautiful Street,” and I mean, they weren’t kidding around. This place sits smack in the middle of Śródmieście, which is Warsaw’s central district, and after staying here twice now (once in summer, once during a dreary February), I can tell you it’s one of those spots where you feel like you’re living in the city rather than just visiting it. The building itself has that pre-war charm that somehow survived everything Warsaw went through – you’ll notice the high ceilings the moment you walk in, and there’s this satisfying weight to the doors that newer places just don’t have. What I really appreciate is how quiet it stays despite being so central; the windows actually block out most of the street noise, though you’ll still hear the occasional tram rumbling by on nearby Marszałkowska, which honestly became sort of comforting after a few days.

The apartments themselves are what you’d expect from a solid 3-star setup – nothing fancy, but everything works and it’s clean. I stayed in one of the larger units last time and was surprised by how much natural light floods in during the day; the windows face different directions depending on which apartment you get, so if you’re picky about morning sun, definitely mention that when booking. The kitchenettes are actually functional (I made coffee every morning and even attempted some pierogi one evening), and there’s enough space to spread out your stuff without feeling cramped. Check-in was smooth both times – they use a key pickup system that’s pretty straightforward, though I’d recommend confirming the details a day before arrival just to be safe. One thing worth noting: the building doesn’t have an elevator, so if you’re hauling heavy luggage or have mobility concerns, request a lower floor when you book.

Location-wise, this is where the place really shines, and I don’t just mean because it’s central – though being a five-minute walk from the Palace of Culture and Science is pretty sweet. What I love is how you’re positioned perfectly between the trendy Powiśle district (great for evening drinks along the Vistula) and the main shopping areas around Nowy Świat. There’s a Żabka convenience store literally around the corner for late-night snacks, and if you walk two minutes toward Koszykowa, you’ll hit this fantastic milk bar called Bar Prasowy where locals actually eat – none of that tourist trap nonsense. The 8.5 rating makes total sense to me; it’s not trying to be a luxury experience, but it delivers exactly what it promises with some genuine Warsaw character thrown in. I mean, you’re staying in an apartment, not a hotel room, which means you can actually live a bit like a local for however long you’re there. Just don’t expect concierge service or daily housekeeping – this is more about independence and soaking up the neighborhood vibe.

  It was very clean. Bed is very comfortable. Location is very good. Hosts were very responding due to late night noises coming from neighbours which are also rented apartments by the same hosts.

  The apartment is worth its price, really spacious, and has everything needed. The host is always in touch. He was also really kind to provide me with the invoice on request a few days later after my stay there – so much appreciated!
  
  What could be improved: There is a noisy fridge that really bothers you during the night. Soundproof, in general, is not perfect, but this one actually has nothing to do with the apartment itself 🙂

  I liked that they responded quickly to any questions that arose, the cleaning lady was nearby and brought everything I needed. It was clean. There was coffee, tea, sugar, dishwashing liquid and rags. Everything you need for stay.
  
  What could be improved: There were not enough chairs and a table in the room, and not only on the terrace, because they are street and large. It was not convenient to eat, and it was cold outside at the table.
  I didn't like the fact that the territory was closed, it was problematic with a taxi, they didn't take us to the entrance to the building, and we were with s0uitcases. I advise you to write a video guide on how to get to the apartments. When we left, the taxi driver also couldn't figure out how to come in and pick us up, but it worked.
  I didn't like the fact that I agreed that we would arrive earlier, the owner agreed to it, but when we arrived at the place, we couldn't figure out what to do and how to get in until we received an SMS with the codes. We couldn't figure out what to do for half an hour, but the owner picked up the phone and within 30 minutes the room was ready and we were let in. The man at the reception in the apartment building doesn't know anything, doesn't understand anything, can't help at all.
