Hotel Description
You know what? I’ve stayed at a lot of aparthotels around Warsaw, and the City Break Wolska actually surprised me in the best way. It’s tucked right on Wolska street in the Wola district – and before you roll your eyes thinking “oh great, another business district hotel,” hear me out. This area has seriously transformed over the past few years. I mean, you’re literally a 10-minute tram ride from the Old Town, but without all the tourist chaos and inflated prices. The building itself looks pretty standard from the outside (honestly, most of Warsaw does), but once you’re inside, it feels way more upscale than you’d expect from a 3-star place.
The apartments themselves are what really sold me on this place. They’re not huge, but they’re smartly designed – like, someone actually thought about how real people live. The kitchenette has everything you need if you want to grab groceries from the Żabka downstairs or hit up the bigger Carrefour that’s about a 5-minute walk away. I actually ended up cooking breakfast most mornings because the coffee situation in the room was surprisingly decent, and there’s something nice about starting your day without immediately spending 20 złoty on hotel breakfast. The Wi-Fi works properly (which, let’s be honest, isn’t always a given), and the beds are comfortable enough that I didn’t wake up feeling like I’d been wrestling with the mattress all night.
Here’s the thing about the location that the booking sites don’t really capture – Wolska street can get a bit busy during rush hour since it’s a main thoroughfare, but the windows are actually pretty good at blocking out the noise. I was on the third floor and barely noticed the traffic after the first night. What I really appreciated was being close to the Rondo Daszyńskiego metro station – you can walk there in about 8 minutes, or catch tram 10 right outside which takes you straight into the city center. The neighborhood has this interesting mix of old Warsaw residential blocks and newer developments, plus there are some genuinely good restaurants within walking distance. There’s this Vietnamese place called Pho Hanoi just around the corner that locals actually go to, not just tourists. The staff at the hotel were helpful without being overly chatty – they gave me solid recommendations and didn’t try to upsell me on anything. Check-in was smooth, and they were flexible when I needed to store my bags for a few hours after checkout. For the price point and that 8.3 rating, it honestly delivers on what it promises without any nasty surprises.

What could be improved: Not enough soapVery Good – Alisa from Belgium – July 26, 2025 (8/10)
the location is comfortable, and room was clean , fridge was working, and wifi and tv, but tv was only in polish language 😅shower room was clean and everything was fine. we didn’t hear our neighbours that also good 👍🏻 so many tramp near, and many food stores too.
What could be improved: the room was a bit small, on pictures it’s shown but we was expected a bit bigger , but it’s was too hot because they dosent have a air conditioner (Clean and comfy – Katarzyna from Ireland – July 25, 2025 (9/10)
Solid apartment, clean and well equipped. Easy rental process.
What could be improved: It’s a bit far from the centre, but well connected. The room in the summer gets very hot, there’s a tiny bit of window that can be opened but it doesn’t really help.Great – Emma from United Kingdom – June 24, 2025 (8/10)
Clean and just as advertised
What could be improved: Noise from the roadGreat value – Travis from United States – June 22, 2025 (9/10)
Clean room. Great location. Helpful staff.
What could be improved: No microwave.Overall was good. I recommend this place – Romero from Canada – June 12, 2025 (8/10)
The apartment hotel's location is excellent, very close to the downtown. There are restaurants and supermarkets nearby. Public transportation is available (a streetcar station is located across the street).
What could be improved: It doesn't have air conditioning, especially during the summer. There wasn't even a trash bin or recycling bin.Compact accommodation for a short stay – Kia from Finland – June 4, 2025 (9/10)
Good location close to a tram station with many restaurants and żabkas nearby. Shower was good with nice water pressure and the fridge in the room was very useful. Our window/balcony was towards the backyard, so the street noises didn’t bother us.
What could be improved: The door was thin so you could hear everything from the hallway. We didn’t hear anything from other rooms though. There could’ve been a separate liquid soap for the dishes/washing hands since all we got was a small bar of soap and a tube of shower gel. You had to take the trash out yourself which wasn’t necessarily bad, but it was interesting cause we’ve never had to do that anywhere else before.Recommend – Krzysztof from United Kingdom – May 29, 2025 (8/10)
Nice and large apartment. .
Good stay once you figure out the details. – John from United States – May 17, 2025 (7/10)
Good location for what I needed. Clean apt. Good size.
What could be improved: The sign in process was very difficult and there was no one to explain it or help. So the beginning was frustrating.Wonderful – Nebojsa from Serbia – April 21, 2025 (9/10)
Clean, comfortable with good traffic connections to the rest of the city. The room was spacy with enough place for the luggage. There are several restaurants nearby. Ideal place for the city breaks.
What could be improved: You will be additionaly charged for the change of the towels.
