Aparthotel Nowy Świat 28 Overview

First Impressions

Walking up to Aparthotel Nowy Świat 28 feels like discovering a well-kept secret right in the middle of Warsaw’s busiest street. The building itself has this understated elegance — you know, the kind where they don’t need flashy signs because the location speaks for itself. I mean, you’re literally on Nowy Świat, which is basically Warsaw’s equivalent of Fifth Avenue, but somehow this place manages to feel like a quiet retreat despite all the action happening right outside your door.

Location & Neighborhood

Honestly, the location is what makes this four-star property special. You step out and you’re immediately surrounded by some of Warsaw’s best cafes, bookshops, and that wonderful mix of pre-war architecture and modern energy that makes this city so compelling. The Royal Castle is just a ten-minute walk north, and if you head south, you’ll hit Łazienki Park in about the same time. What I really appreciated was how couples seem to gravitate toward this spot — there’s something romantic about being able to stroll down one of Europe’s most beautiful streets whenever you want, day or night.

The Apartment Experience

The apartment setup here actually works better than I expected. Each unit has its own kitchenette, which turned out to be surprisingly well-equipped — not just the usual mini-fridge and microwave situation. You get a proper stovetop and enough counter space to actually prepare something decent if you want to skip the restaurant scene for a night. The room layouts feel more like staying in a friend’s place than a typical hotel, with separate living areas that give you space to spread out and really settle in.

Comfort & Amenities

The beds are solid — not the most luxurious I’ve experienced, but definitely comfortable enough for a good night’s sleep after walking around the city all day. What impressed me more was the attention to practical details: good water pressure in the showers, reliable WiFi, and windows that actually block out the street noise when you need them to. There’s parking available, which is honestly a minor miracle in this part of Warsaw, though you’ll pay extra for it — but if you’re driving in the city center, you probably already knew that was coming.

Why Guests Love It

Look, this isn’t the fanciest place you’ll ever stay, but it gets the fundamentals right in a way that matters. The staff genuinely seems to care about helping you navigate the city, and they’re quick to sort out any issues that come up. What really won me over was how the place strikes this perfect balance — you’re in the absolute heart of everything Warsaw has to offer, but you’re not paying five-star prices for the privilege. It’s the kind of spot where you end up spending more time exploring the neighborhood than hanging around the hotel, which is exactly what you want when you’re visiting a city like this.

Reviews of Aparthotel Nowy Świat 28

  • Very Good – Yuliya from Belarus – July 21, 2025 (8/10)

Good location, but if you’re not a party person it could be noisy outside at night because of bars and pubs. But apartment provides with the earplugs.

  • Wonderful – Elżbieta from Iceland – June 11, 2025 (9/10)

    Location!

What could be improved: There is construction work just outside of the apartment. They start work very early in the morning so it may be annoying if you like to sleep longer.
But the owner sent a message before we arrived so we knew about it

  • Very Good – Grzegorz from Spain – April 29, 2025 (8/10)

Great location, nice decoration, spacious and really comfortable bed! Walking dostanie to bars and restaurants.

What could be improved: Apartment has really thin walls, what result in neighbours knocking to our doors and shouting at as becouse tv in the apartment was too loud.

  • Just perfectly enough – Ax from Poland – February 26, 2025 (9/10)

Fabulous property in a prime location, very comfortable bed and room facilities. The tv was great, perfect size for the room. Clean and neat, a perfect spot to stay in while exploring the city.

What could be improved: There were a couple of things missing from the kitchen, like wine glasses or a bottle opener. Also the placement of the bed (in the middle of the room) wasn't very steady at night.

  • Very Good – Karolina from Poland – January 26, 2025 (8/10)

Very good central location. Fast communication with the owner. The apartment has a nice design. It was clean and comfortable. Overall, very pleasant stay.

What could be improved: It's located next to popular bars, so if you're staying during the weekend, it will be noisy.

  • Fabulous room view ! – Rong from Malaysia – January 10, 2025 (7/10)

Centrally located, easily access with public bus or tram. Balcony is fabulous!

What could be improved: Nope but be aware no lift and surrounded with bars.

  • Good – Ketija from Lithuania – December 23, 2024 (9/10)

Good location, easy to navigate and find.

What could be improved: Even though the bathroom was nicely heater, the bedroom was cold due to the bedroom having only one radiator.

  • Overall we were happy! Location is very good. – Olha from United Kingdom – November 26, 2024 (8/10)

We stayed in Olive room. It’s in second floor (3rd) We wasnt realize from reviews how noisy it will be. So in the middle between buildings is some bars and sounds like disco with sub buffer. Luckily we was very tired and we had a nice sleep even without earplugs (was provided by property).
Netflix was working. Towels, shampoo, shower gel are provided.

What could be improved: Shower was very strong from the top, and shower cover need to be changed due to hygiene reasons

  • Nice stay in Warsaw – Hristo from Bulgaria – August 6, 2024 (8/10)

The place is very close to the Central Railway Station and 3 stops away from the National Stadium. It's also close to the Old Town of Warsaw. The bed was super comfortable so we slept well.

What could be improved: We asked if it's possible to check-in early and we were asked to pay 20 PLN per hour. So we paid 40 PLN extra for check-in at 13:00 instead of 15:00. This may be a thing in Poland, I don't know, but I haven't seen it anywhere before (and I travel a lot, like really a lot), so it was a bit annoying. Especially as we had already paid 157 EUR for one night in the studio (Prices were super increased due to Taylor Swift's concerts on these dates). Also the bar just below the terrace is super noisy at night (but there were ear plugs provided by the hosts).

  • Wonderful – Chmiel from Poland – July 15, 2024 (9/10)

    Location, decor & price.

What could be improved: It was super warm outside and had to keep the window open – and because it’s in a busy area it was rather loud
