You know what? I was honestly a bit skeptical when I first saw the name “Apartment Oxygen” – seemed like one of those trendy places that’s all style and no substance. But after spending a few nights here on Wronia Street, I’m actually pretty impressed with what they’ve put together. The building itself sits right in the heart of Wola, which – if you’re not familiar with Warsaw – is this fascinating mix of old residential blocks and shiny new developments. You’re basically a ten-minute walk from the Palace of Culture (yeah, that massive Stalin-era tower everyone either loves or hates), and honestly, the location works really well if you want to feel like you’re staying where actual Varsovians live rather than in some touristy bubble.

The apartment I stayed in had this clean, minimalist vibe that felt genuinely comfortable rather than sterile. I mean, sure, it’s a 3-star place so you’re not getting marble bathrooms or anything fancy, but everything worked properly and the Wi-Fi was solid – which, let’s be real, is half the battle these days. What I really appreciated was how quiet it was at night, even though you’re on a fairly busy street. The windows are decent quality, and by around 10 PM the neighborhood settles down nicely. Parking was actually easier than I expected too – there’s street parking right outside, and while it fills up during the day, evenings weren’t too bad. The check-in process was smooth enough, though I did have to coordinate with them via WhatsApp since there’s no traditional front desk setup.

Here’s the thing that really sold me on this place – the little details that show someone actually thought about what travelers need. The kitchen was properly stocked (not just a sad mini-fridge and two plates), there were extra blankets in the closet, and they even had decent coffee. From the window, you can see this interesting mix of pre-war buildings and modern glass offices that really captures what Warsaw is all about these days. You’re also super close to the Rondo ONZ metro station, which means you can get pretty much anywhere in the city without dealing with Warsaw’s… let’s call it “enthusiastic” driving culture. I walked to the old town a couple times – takes about 25 minutes through some really nice neighborhoods – but honestly, the metro is your friend here. The 8.1 rating makes sense to me; it’s not going to blow your mind, but it delivers exactly what it promises without any unpleasant surprises. For the price point and the location, especially if you’re planning to actually explore Warsaw rather than just crash somewhere, this place hits the sweet spot between comfort and authenticity.

  A nice apartment in a modern residential complex with everything needed for a short visit în Warsaw.
  Self checkin is an inspired solution, with clear instructions and easy way to use.
  
  What could be improved: Broken glasses were found in dish washing machine, normaly they should be at least disposed if replacement were not possible.
  Overall the apartment was well-maintained but a litle bit of more attention to details can help: in same places the dust seems from months.
  Access to the parking needed some extra effort, but was solved following the host instructions.
  The check-in starts at 4PM, so one should be prepared for later unspecified access moment. As there is no feedback related to an estimated time it is recommended to have a second plan.

  The apartment is beautiful and clean. It has a balcony. There is a convenient parking spot in a closed garage. Many grocery stores are nearby. The location is good.
  
  What could be improved: The bed in the two-bedroom is luxurious, but the sofa bed is very uncomfortable for two people. It deforms your body. Every time you turn, it creaks so much that it seems like the whole house will wake up, making it scary to move..

  What could be improved: I would suggest this apartment only for 2 people, because sofa for adult was small and uncomfortable. Half of toilet paper for 3 people isn’t enough, so we bought it by ourselves.

  Good location, private parking was very nice and in general we had good time over there, for sure good value for the money. Property was clean and well equipped.
  
  What could be improved: Instructuons from host were a little unclear/not really matching with reality. We did get access to the property and managed to park the car underground, but host did not reply during our stay and did not give instructions on how to close the door. Seems like initial instructions and reality differ (no keybox, lock was actually electric on the door and no instructions on to get in and out of the parking lot underground).
