Hotel Description

You know what? I’ve stayed in a lot of places in Warsaw, and this apartment on Krakowskie Przedmieście really surprised me. I mean, when you first walk up to number 67, it doesn’t look like much from the street – just another one of those classic Warsaw buildings that somehow survived everything history threw at it. But honestly, once you’re inside, the “premium” part of the name actually makes sense. The apartment itself feels properly renovated, not like those half-hearted jobs you sometimes get where they slap some IKEA furniture in a crumbling space and call it boutique. The floors are solid (no creaking at 2 AM when you’re trying to sneak to the bathroom), and whoever designed the place actually thought about how people live – there’s proper counter space in the kitchen, decent water pressure, and enough outlets that you’re not playing musical chairs with your phone charger.

What really sold me on this place, though, is the location. I mean, you’re literally on one of Warsaw’s most famous streets, but here’s the thing locals know – Krakowskie Przedmieście is long, and where you are on it matters a lot. This spot puts you right in that sweet zone where you can walk to the Royal Castle in about eight minutes (I timed it), but you’re far enough from the main tourist chaos that you can actually sleep at night. The trams run constantly just outside – which sounds terrible but is actually brilliant because you can hop on the 4 or 13 and be anywhere in the city center in minutes. There’s this little żabka (convenience store) literally next door that becomes your best friend when you realize you forgot toothpaste, and if you walk maybe two minutes toward the castle, you hit this cluster of cafes where the coffee doesn’t taste like it was made for tourists, if you know what I mean.

The building itself has that old Warsaw character – thick walls that keep things quiet, high ceilings that make the space feel bigger than it probably is, and windows that actually open properly (you’d be surprised how often that’s not the case). Check-in was refreshingly straightforward – none of that awkward waiting around in a lobby wondering if anyone’s coming. The Your Freedom people seem to have their act together, which honestly isn’t always a given with apartment rentals. I stayed there in late spring when Warsaw gets busy, and while you definitely hear some street life during the day, it settles down nicely in the evenings. The only real downside? Parking is basically impossible unless you want to pay through the nose, but that’s true for anywhere decent in Śródmieście. Take the train from the airport and use those trams – trust me on this one. For what you pay and where you end up, it’s actually pretty solid value, especially if you want to feel like you’re staying in Warsaw rather than just visiting it.

Reviews

  • Great location and property- no WiFi or TV. – Jacqueline from United States – December 14, 2024 (9/10)

Great location and secure entry to the home. Clean and stocked with everything you need to enjoy your stay.

What could be improved: The TV and internet didn’t work at all while we were there for the week. Contacting the property didn’t result in any solution or responses.

  • Exceptional – Vaiko from Estonia – July 28, 2024 (10/10)

Location was in the middle of old town.

What could be improved: Can't leave windows open in the morning because trashbin carriers make a lot of noise, otherwise very quiet innercourt.

  • Wonderful stay in the old town – Olga from Ukraine – June 20, 2024 (9/10)

The flat was cozy, clean, and quite new in the very center of the old town with enough space and good beds. I would definitely recommend it for a couple or three people if you want to stay in the historic center of Warsaw.

  • Wonderful – Εleni from Greece – April 27, 2024 (9/10)

The apartment was really big and comfortable. It was clean and the location was next to the old town and quiet. We had a nice stay.

What could be improved: It was difficult to enter in the building as we could not understand the entrance code in the way that was sent to us.

  • Perfect stay in Old Town – Romina from Malta – December 22, 2023 (9/10)

Modern and spacious apartment. Very good location. What you see in the pictures is really what you get. Very quiet at night. The owner gave us instructions how to check in which was easy and hassle free.

    What could be improved: Nothing.

  • perfect location, great place! – Marina from Serbia – October 3, 2022 (10/10)

There is everything in the appartment, from iron to washing machine! Clean, it looks just like on the pictures, and even better with all that lights everywhere. We were just for a day in Warsaw, so for us, location was perfect, in the city center! a lot of restaurants nearby, cafes etc.

What could be improved: There were some problems with the wi-fi that week, so it didn’t work, but even though everything was perfect, and I would totally recomend.
