The apartment’s on the third floor (no elevator, just so you know), but the climb’s worth it because you get these great windows that let in tons of light during the day. The one bedroom is actually spacious enough that you’re not constantly bumping into furniture, and there’s this little sitting area that’s perfect for morning coffee or planning your day. WiFi works great – I was video calling back home without any issues, which is always my litmus test for whether internet is actually functional or just technically present.

What I really loved was how quiet it gets at night, even being so central. You’d expect constant noise from the trams and late-night crowds, but the windows must be pretty solid because I slept like a baby. During the day though, you can hear the city humming below, which I actually found kind of comforting – reminds you that you’re right in the middle of everything. The kitchen’s small but totally functional (I made pasta one night when I was too tired to hunt for restaurants), and there’s a little market around the corner where locals shop, so you can grab fresh bread and whatever else you need. Check-in was surprisingly smooth – the owner met me right on time and spoke decent English, walked me through everything without rushing. Honestly, the whole experience felt more like staying at a friend’s place than some sterile hotel room.

I’ll be real with you – it’s not fancy. The decor is pretty basic, and the bathroom could use some updating. But sometimes that doesn’t matter when everything else just works. The location alone makes it worth considering, especially if you want to actually experience Warsaw instead of just seeing it from some tourist bubble. You’re walking distance from the Old Town, easy tram connections to anywhere else you want to go, and surrounded by the kind of cafés and shops where actual Varsovians hang out. For what you pay, you get a genuine slice of city life in one of Europe’s most underrated capitals. Just pack light if you’re staying here – remember that third-floor walk-up I mentioned.

  The apartment was amazing! Great location, very comfortable and clean, fully equipped.
  And the biggest thank you to the host! She saved us on the last minute and managed to organise our check-in within an hour of booking, after other nearby booking location canceled on us on the last minute. We are really gratefull!
