You know what? I’ve stayed at Apartments Dexter Warsaw a handful of times now, and honestly, it’s become my go-to spot when I need to be in the thick of things without breaking the bank. The location on Marszałkowska is pretty much perfect if you actually want to experience Warsaw like a local – you’re literally walking distance from everything that matters. I mean, you step out the door and you’re already on one of the main arteries of the city, but not in that touristy, overpriced way. There’s a Żabka right around the corner (because let’s be real, you’ll need late-night snacks), and the metro entrance at Świętokrzyska is maybe a three-minute walk. The building itself is one of those classic Warsaw mixed-use structures – apartments above, shops below – which actually gives you this authentic neighborhood vibe that most hotels completely miss.

The apartments themselves are… well, they’re exactly what you’d expect from a solid 3-star place, but with more personality than your typical hotel room. Mine had this quirky little kitchenette that was surprisingly functional – I actually cooked breakfast a few times, which saved me a decent chunk of change. The Wi-Fi works fine (I was working remotely part of the time), and the beds are comfortable enough, though the pillows are a bit soft for my taste. What I really appreciate is how quiet it gets at night, considering you’re smack in the middle of Śródmieście. Sure, you’ll hear some street noise during the day, but by evening it mellows out considerably. The check-in process is pretty straightforward – they’re flexible about timing, which is clutch when you’re dealing with delayed flights or train connections.

Here’s the thing though – this isn’t going to blow your mind with luxury touches or Instagram-worthy design. The decor is functional, maybe a little dated, but everything works and it’s clean. I had a small issue with the shower pressure once, but honestly, for the price point and location, I’m not complaining. What really sells me on this place is how it puts you right in the pulse of the city. You can walk to the Palace of Culture in ten minutes, hit up the trendy bars in Nowy Świat, or just wander through the neighborhood and stumble onto those little pierogi joints that locals actually frequent. Plus, if you’re planning day trips, the central train station is super accessible from here. The staff has always been helpful when I’ve needed directions or restaurant recommendations – they actually know the area well, not just the tourist highlights. I’d definitely stay here again, especially if I’m in Warsaw for more than just a quick weekend and want to feel like I’m living in the city rather than just visiting it.

  Central location, close to public transport and shopping. Great amenities and clean apartment. Easy check-in and check-out process.
  
  What could be improved: If you keep the window open at night it’s going to be very noisy with all the traffic passing by.

  Loved the locations, very easy to get around Warsaw from prime location, nice room.Loved the gas range, nice view from balcony, so easy to get everywhere, steps from Centrum station and main rail station.
  
  What could be improved: it was difficult to reach the hosts, luckily a Polish man helped me as I was literally outside stranded with no access to the apartment. Once I got in I like it though, as others mentioned, issues with the shower. Would have liked to have a dish towel to wipe dishes, minor but did not like using a bath towel for that

  Location is great, building is very safe and secure and you have shops cafes and shopping malls on your doorstep. Good transport links. Flat is spacious, nice to have a balcony and opening windows. Washing machine was handy. Good power points etc Generally wasn't too bad especially for the price point.
  
  What could be improved: Lamp shades hanging off, very dusty and grubby. Shower curtain dirty and mouldy. Toilet flush button was broken. Only a very small hand towel given no actual towels.

  What could be improved: We had quite an unpleasant experience on check in:
  – The bed was not ready after arrival, we had to spend time and make the bed ourselves (punt on pillowcases etc).
  – All the supplies (shampoo, toilet paper, paper towels etc) were just casually thrown on the couch in a form of a pile.
  – there were not enough towels
  – the maid that was sent to us to solve this issue was rude and not really helpful
  Plus the apartment has poor soundproofing and needs more thorough cleaning

  The apartment is located in a great place, close to the city center and public transportation. The apartment is quite comfortable and spacious. You will find there all you need for your staying – including shower cosmetics and even some tea/coffee. I've got quite detailed instructions on how to get to the apartment, so its possible to check-in even if you are arriving in the middle of the night.
  
  What could be improved: The key was located not in the place it was promised to be, and that can be an easy to solve… if someone will respond to your call. The phone number is useless – use e-mail to communicate. Be careful of the staircase door – if this appears to be closed, there is no key to open it and you will need to wait while someone will go out (although it is opened most of the time). There was a minor smell, seems like nobody used the apartment for a long time. Two more issues were: the broken electrical socket in the sleeping room and a piece of wall which just fell to the floor.

  Amazing location. Some parking spaces are literally in front (4.5zl per hour Mon-Fri 8-20), close to shopping centres. The view from balcony was amazing! Sofa was decent to sleep on. Downstairs was nero cafe, for all the morning coffees, so this was nice.
  
  What could be improved: Pictures are from several apartments, so ours looked a bit older (it still did the job!). The bed was not comfortable. As it's on the main road, it is very loud and as there is no air con, you need to sleep with windows open so it is loud. We traveled as a group of 3, but the apartment was prepared for only 2 people, but we found an extra towel and bedding for sofa after talking to the owners.
