You know what? I was honestly surprised by how much I liked staying at Apartments Golden Warsaw. I mean, when you book something through Noclegi Renters, you’re never quite sure what you’re going to get, but this place on Złota street really delivered. The location is pretty much perfect if you want to actually experience Warsaw rather than just see it from a tour bus. You’re literally a five-minute walk from the Palace of Culture and Science (that massive Stalin-era building you can’t miss), and Świętokrzyska metro station is close enough that you’ll probably walk past it without realizing how convenient it is until you need it. What I really appreciated was being right in Śródmieście but on a side street that doesn’t get the crazy weekend noise from the main drags. Well, except for Friday nights when people are heading to the clubs around Nowy Świat, but honestly, that’s just Warsaw being Warsaw.

The apartments themselves feel like someone actually lives in them, which sounds weird but trust me, it’s a good thing. Instead of that sterile hotel vibe, you get proper kitchens with real coffee makers (not those pod things), decent-sized fridges, and enough counter space to spread out if you’re the type who picks up groceries at the Żabka downstairs. The furniture isn’t trying too hard to be trendy, but it’s comfortable and functional – I spent way too many evenings on that couch planning the next day’s adventures. The WiFi actually works throughout the apartment, which isn’t always a given in these older Warsaw buildings, and the heating keeps things cozy even when it’s properly cold outside. I stayed during a particularly gray February week, and the place felt warm and lived-in rather than like a temporary crash pad.

What really won me over was how the whole experience felt refreshingly straightforward. Check-in was smooth – no standing around a lobby waiting for someone to find your reservation – and the building itself has that solid, pre-war Warsaw character without being run-down. You’re surrounded by the kind of neighborhood cafes and small shops that locals actually use, not tourist traps. There’s this excellent pierogi place about two blocks away that I probably never would have found if I’d stayed in one of those big chain hotels near the airport. The trams on Marszałkowska are close enough to be useful but far enough that you don’t hear them rattling by at 6 AM. Honestly, for the price point and that 8.2 rating, I get why people keep coming back here. It’s not luxury, but it’s genuine Warsaw living without the hassle of actually signing a lease. Plus, if you need to get to Chopin Airport, the train from Śródmieście station is right there – though I’d still give yourself extra time because, well, it’s public transport.

  Everything is clean and comfortable, found everything we needed in the apartment. I would recommend to leave a small amount of cooking oil so if tourists would like to cook they wouldn’t have to buy a whole bottle just for a small use.
  
  What could be improved: There wasn’t enough trash bags so had to leave empty bottles in the apartment next to the trash can, because it would be a struggle to carry all of it outside by hands. A cooking program button on the oven is broken so it was a struggle to turn it on or off, but I managed it.

  The location is perfect and the view is absolutely amazing. A lot of restaurants and shops in the surrounding area. Both metro lines just outside the apartment, and of course tram and bus stops. Layout of apartment is good, it's nice and quite spacious for two people.
  
  What could be improved: The apartment is nice but it needs a thorough upgrade and deep cleaning. The pillows are yellow and clumpy and the mattress is worn down, not comfortable. Only one normal drinking glass in the kitchen. The main lock on the door was broken so we had problems getting inside, which was not fun after a long day of traveling. After contacting customer service through the chat (could not get trough by phone) we were advised to only use the secondary lock.

  It was good overall, the location and view from the window is wonderful. Easy to check-in, very detailed instructions. The apartment has all the necessary things, internet was fine too, I could work without issues.

  The location is amazing, right at the center close to public transportation, a lot of restaurants, shops and coffee houses.
  a walking distance from some of the landmarks as wall as the Zloty mall, the science palace can be seen from the balcony and the windows.
  The building has a code to enter and big elevator.

  What could be improved: The hand held shower head was moldy , and the big overhead shower head didn't work
  the matters in the bedroom was very thine and you could feel the bed frame under it

  We ware 3 people and received only 1 hand towel to shear for all of us!
