Overview

You know what? I was honestly a bit skeptical when I first booked Apartments Monte Carlo Warsaw – the name sounds way fancier than what you’d expect for a 3-star place, but it actually turned out to be one of those pleasant surprises that makes you feel like you’ve discovered something good. The location on Konopczyńskiego is pretty solid if you know Warsaw at all – you’re right in Śródmieście, which means you can walk to most of the stuff you actually want to see without dealing with the tourist crowds that cluster around the Old Town. I mean, Palace of Culture and Science is maybe a 10-minute walk, and there’s this great little café called Między Nami just around the corner that locals actually go to (not just tourists Instagramming their pierogi).

The apartments themselves are… well, they’re apartments, not hotel rooms, which I actually preferred. There’s something nice about having a proper kitchen where you can make coffee that doesn’t taste like it came from a machine that’s been sitting in a lobby for six months. The place feels more like staying in someone’s well-maintained city flat than a sterile hotel – the furniture’s modern enough but not trying too hard, and honestly, the beds are surprisingly comfortable. I stayed on the third floor and it was pretty quiet, even though you’re in the city center. Check-in was smooth too – they actually met me at the building since there’s no traditional front desk, which initially seemed weird but ended up being more personal than the usual hotel routine.

Here’s the thing though – and this is probably why it’s got such a good rating – the staff really seems to know what they’re doing. When I mentioned I was looking for a good spot for dinner that wasn’t touristy, the guy didn’t just hand me a generic list but actually recommended this place called Akademia that’s maybe five minutes away where locals eat. Little touches like that make a difference, you know? The area gets pretty lively in the evenings since you’re close to some good bars and restaurants, but it’s not obnoxiously loud – more like the pleasant hum of a neighborhood that’s actually alive. Parking can be a bit tricky if you’re driving (street parking fills up fast), but honestly, you don’t really need a car from this location anyway. The trams and metro connections are solid, and walking is usually faster than dealing with Warsaw traffic. I’d definitely stay here again – it’s got that sweet spot of being comfortable and well-located without feeling like you’re paying for a bunch of amenities you’ll never use.

Одні з найкращих апартаментів у Варшаві!

Дуже гарні апартаменти у центрі міста. Зручні ліжко та диван, все є (навіть пралка та посудомийка). Дуже гарна кухня на якій можна готувати. Ми зазвичай готували вдома, в закладах майже не харчувалися. Одразу поряд під будинком є Lidl (все, що треба також є). Чисто, охайно, приємний запах. Є шафи для зберігання речей, приємна постіль, ж рушники, все чисте.

What could be improved: Хотілося б, щоб більше паперових рушників було на кухні (докуповували) та засобу для миття посуду (його було мало та таке враження, що розбавлений водою). Також ще нюанс з самим душем, через те, що немає піддону – довго не покупаєшся (або кожні 5 хв треба вимикати воду, щоб не утворився потом у ванній). Один із стільців (спинка) був трохи поламаний, але я думаю це виправити не проблема (просто треба інструменти, підкрутити та й все).
