The apartments themselves surprised me in the best way. The WiFi was fast enough that I could actually work when I needed to, and the shower had proper water pressure, which… well, if you’ve stayed in enough European apartments, you know that’s not always a given.

The building itself has that solid, post-war Polish architecture thing going on – not Instagram-pretty, but substantial and real. And the location, honestly, ended up being perfect for how I like to travel. I could walk to the Vistula riverbank in about ten minutes for morning runs, there’s this great milk bar called Bar Prasowy just a few streets over where locals actually eat, and when I wanted to venture into tourist mode, the metro whisked me away. I stayed for six nights and by the end, the guy at the corner bakery was nodding at me like I belonged there. For a 4-star rating and that 8.2 score, it’s exactly what you’d hope for – no nasty surprises, just a comfortable base in a real part of Warsaw that doesn’t feel like it exists solely for visitors.
