The check-in was refreshingly straightforward, none of that overly formal hotel dance, just practical information delivered by someone who clearly knows the area inside and out. I stayed during shoulder season in October and the whole district had this cozy, slightly melancholy autumn vibe that felt distinctly Polish. The only minor thing I’d mention is that weekend evenings can get a bit lively with the younger crowd heading to the riverside bars, but honestly, it just adds to the authentic neighborhood feel.   Lovely apartment with two balconies in an excellent location! Close to the central station, the Old Town and the Vistula river. A visit to the nearby Chopin museum is a must! There are many lovely shops and restaurants in the area! Peter was a welcoming host.
