Bednarska runs right through this part of town where you’re close enough to everything that matters, but far enough from the main tourist chaos that you can actually walk around without getting swept up in crowds of people taking selfies every five minutes. There’s this great little café about two blocks down that I stumbled into my second morning – the kind of place where locals actually hang out and read newspapers instead of just passing through. The street itself is pretty quiet at night, which was perfect since I’m one of those people who wakes up at every little sound. I mean, you’ll hear the occasional car or someone walking by, but nothing like staying near the main squares where there’s always something happening until 2 AM. Check-in was smooth too – the staff actually seemed like they wanted to be helpful rather than just going through the motions, and they had some solid recommendations for places to eat that weren’t the usual tourist traps. One thing worth mentioning: if you’re planning to drive, parking around here can be a bit of a puzzle during the day, but honestly, you probably don’t need a car anyway with how walkable everything is.
