Overview
First Impressions
Walking up to Bielańska Apartment on a quiet side street in Warsaw‘s Old Town, you’d almost miss it if you weren’t looking — and honestly, that’s part of its charm. This four-star apartment sits right in the thick of Śródmieście, tucked away on Bielańska Street where the tourist crowds thin out just enough to let you breathe. I mean, you’re literally steps from the Royal Castle and Market Square, but somehow it feels like you’ve found this little secret that most visitors walk right past.
The Heart of Old Warsaw
The location here is actually ridiculous — and I say that in the best possible way. You can stumble out the front door and be at the Barbican in two minutes, or wander over to Krakowskie Przedmieście for some serious people-watching over coffee. What really gets me is how couples seem to fall head over heels for this spot (they’re rating it 9.7 for romantic getaways, which honestly makes total sense). There’s something about being able to duck into those narrow cobblestone alleys whenever the main squares get too packed with tour groups.
The Space Itself
Inside, the room strikes that perfect balance between having enough space to actually unpack your stuff and feeling cozy rather than sterile. The setup works well whether you’re here for a long weekend or planning to use Warsaw as your base for exploring Poland — you’ve got proper storage and a layout that doesn’t make you feel like you’re living out of a suitcase. The whole place has this understated Polish elegance thing going on, nothing flashy but everything you need is there and works properly.
Daily Life and Practicalities
Mornings here are pretty great, actually. You can grab fresh bread from the bakery around the corner (locals line up there, which is always a good sign), or walk five minutes to that little café on Freta Street that does proper Polish breakfast. The neighborhood wakes up slowly, so you get this nice quiet hour before the day-trippers arrive. Parking can be tricky in this part of town — well, it’s Old Warsaw, so that’s sort of expected — but honestly, once you’re settled in, you won’t want to drive anywhere anyway.
Why Guests Love It
What keeps people coming back is how this place manages to put you right in the center of everything without making you feel like you’re staying in a tourist trap. You’re close enough to hit all the must-see spots, but you’re also in a real neighborhood where people actually live and work. That 8.7 rating reflects what I’ve noticed too — it’s not trying to be the fanciest place in Warsaw, but it nails the basics while giving you that authentic city experience that’s getting harder to find these days.

What could be improved: Nothing. The electricity tripped but the owner was very helpful in getting it resolved for us.
Excellent value, good facilities and great location.
The location is excellent - a very short walk into the old town. As others have noted, the apartment block is set back off the main road but so long as you know that it is easy to find. There are restaurants close by - we went to the Mexican, El Popo, and had a take-away - it was delicious. The apartment had tea and coffee supplies, along with a coffee machine. Microwave and hob, so we could cook breakfast. TV with access to Netflix/YouTube/etc. Elevator was helpful as one of our group had limited mobility.
Exceptional
Really nice, clean and spacious for 5 people apartment. The location was perfect and safe. Recommended.!!
Awesome stay
Host is easy to communicate. Free Car park is a major plus. Location wise is near to attractions. We got everything we need.
What could be improved: Washing machine was very loud during spinning but still grateful it is provided.
