Honestly, when I first heard “Brand New Top Floor Apartment at Mokotow,” I wasn’t expecting much – the name sounds like someone just threw together a basic listing. But you know what? Sometimes the places with terrible names end up surprising you, and this one actually did.

The thing about Mokotów is that it’s not where most tourists end up, which is exactly why I loved staying here. You’re in this residential area that feels genuinely Polish – I mean, you’ll wake up to the sounds of kids heading to school and people walking their dogs, not tour groups dragging suitcases over cobblestones. The apartment itself sits on the top floor (obviously), and the windows are these big, generous things that let in ridiculous amounts of light. I spent way too much time just sitting there with my coffee, watching the neighborhood come alive below. The furniture is actually new – not that “we bought this in 2015 and call it new” situation you get sometimes – and everything has that fresh, clean smell instead of that weird staleness some apartments have.

What really got me was how quiet it stays up there, even though you’re still connected to the city. Mokotów has this network of trams that’ll get you downtown in maybe twenty minutes, and there’s this little market area nearby where I’d grab fresh bread and vegetables from vendors who definitely didn’t speak English but somehow we made it work with pointing and Google Translate. The building itself is solid – none of that thin-wall nonsense where you hear every conversation from next door. I actually slept better here than I do at home, which almost never happens when I travel. The kitchen is compact but functional (I made actual meals, not just instant noodles), and the bathroom has one of those rainfall showerheads that makes you feel like you’re at a spa, not in someone’s spare apartment.

The 9.3 rating makes sense once you’ve been there – it’s not trying to be fancy or Instagram-perfect, but everything works exactly like it should. Check-in was smooth, the WiFi didn’t drop every five minutes, and the heating kept the place warm during those chilly Warsaw evenings. For a 3-star place, it punches way above its weight. I’d definitely come back, especially since it gave me this authentic slice of Warsaw life that you just can’t get in the hotel districts.

Travelers should reserve a hotel in Warsaw at least two months ahead for major events like music festivals or business conferences, ensuring the best rates and prime locations near attractions.

  Even though is not in the center of Warsaw, there are a lot of options for public transport to take both day and night

  Clean space with really great view from the window. Communication with the main square was ok, although we were travelling with our bicycles thus most of the time it was more convenient to travel through the city on a bike.

  Wonderful place, all is brand new, view to the city is amazing. Next to the house is a bus stop, easy to get to the city center. Free parking on the street. Grocery store on the ground floor with ice cream cafe and pizza store. Host of the place is friendly and supportive, pre-communicated everything in Whatsapp, agreed with early check in and later check out. Really nice experience and we will definitely return back, if will visit Warsaw again!
