Hotel Description
You know what? I wasn’t expecting much when I first heard the name “Browary Warszawskie” – honestly, it sounds a bit industrial – but this place actually surprised me. It’s tucked into this fascinating complex on Krochmalna that used to be the old Haberbusch and Schiele brewery (hence the name), and they’ve done something pretty clever with the space. The building itself has this cool brick facade that gives you a hint of Warsaw’s pre-war character, which is honestly refreshing in a city where so much got rebuilt after the war. I mean, you’re right in Wola district here, and while it’s not the postcard-pretty Old Town, there’s something authentic about staying where actual Varsovians live and work. The apartment I stayed in felt more like borrowing a friend’s place than checking into a hotel – Noclegi Renters seems to specialize in that kind of setup, where you get a proper kitchen and living space rather than just a bed and tiny bathroom.
The location is actually pretty smart if you know Warsaw at all. You’re walking distance from the Palace of Culture (love it or hate it, it’s hard to miss), and honestly, the tram connections from nearby are solid – you can get to the main train station or over to Praga without much fuss. What I really appreciated was how quiet it gets at night, especially compared to some places closer to the tourist center where you’ve got drunk stag parties stumbling around until 3 AM. The neighborhood has this lived-in feel with proper grocery stores and cafes where you’ll hear more Polish than English, which I actually prefer. Parking was easier than I expected too – there’s usually space on the street, and you don’t have to stress about finding a spot like you would in Śródmieście.
Now, I’ll be honest about the 7.2 rating – it’s not luxury, and you can tell. The wifi worked fine for me, but I heard someone complaining about it cutting out (though that might’ve been during one of those random storms Warsaw gets). The furnishing is that kind of modern-but-not-fancy style you see in a lot of rental apartments – functional, clean, but don’t expect thread counts that’ll change your life. What I did love was having a proper kitchen where I could make coffee the way I like it and grab stuff from the Żabka downstairs when I needed snacks. Check-in was smooth enough, though you definitely want to coordinate timing since it’s not like a hotel with 24-hour front desk service. The whole area comes alive during the day with people heading to work and the market activity, but evenings are pleasantly calm. If you’re the type who wants to experience Warsaw more like a temporary resident than a tourist passing through, this place hits that sweet spot – especially if you’re staying more than just a night or two and want space to spread out a bit.
The luxury concierge service in Warsaw offers personalized access to private historical collections, fine dining experiences, and VIP cultural events in this dynamic Polish capital.

Convenient location, lovely area, close to central station. Good layout, perfect for a couple. It is possible to prepare breakfast, from a pleasant – toaster. There is a microwave, all the necessary kitchen utensils, glasses and a corkscrew. By the way, very close to the shop with delicacies and fine wine. Also nearby is a small supermarket with everything you need. The apartment is clean and spacious enough. A cozy balcony overlooking a picturesque courtyard. There is heating. All in all, ideal for a comfortable stay. I recommend and plan to come in the future 🙂
What could be improved: One of the bedside lights didn't work, there was a washing machine, but there was no laundry detergent. It would be nice to drink coffee in the morning not from a mug, but from a small coffee cup. But all these are absolutely not critical trifles. Overall, the apartment is wonderful, empathetic and clear staff.Very Good – Anna from Spain – October 29, 2024 (8/10)
