Overview
I’ll be honest – when I first heard “Campanile Prime,” I wasn’t expecting much. You know how chain hotels can be, right? But this place on Towarowa actually surprised me in the best way. It’s tucked right in the Wola district, which honestly used to be pretty industrial but has really come alive in recent years. The location is sort of perfect if you think about it – you’re close enough to the Old Town that you can walk there in about 20 minutes (or hop on the tram), but you’re not paying those crazy Stare Miasto prices. Plus, Towarowa connects you to everything without being right in the tourist chaos.
The building itself has this clean, modern vibe that feels more upscale than your typical 3-star spot. I mean, the lobby actually has some personality – not just generic hotel furniture and fake plants. What really got me though was how quiet my room was, even though you’re basically in the city center. The windows must be really well insulated because I barely heard any street noise, which is saying something in Warsaw. The rooms are well… they’re not huge, but they’re smartly designed. Everything you need is there, and the bed was actually comfortable (I’m picky about mattresses). The bathroom was surprisingly spacious too – I’ve stayed in 4-star places with smaller showers.
Here’s what I really appreciated – the staff genuinely seemed to know the area. When I asked about getting to Łazienki Park, the guy at reception didn’t just point me toward a tourist map. He told me which tram stop to use and mentioned that if I went in the morning, I’d avoid the crowds and get better photos by the palace. That’s the kind of local insight you don’t always get. The breakfast was solid too, nothing fancy but proper Polish options alongside the usual international stuff. And parking – if you’re driving, there’s actually space here, which is kind of a miracle in this part of Warsaw. The whole area around Towarowa has really developed lately, so you’ve got decent restaurants within walking distance, plus there’s a shopping center nearby if you need anything. I’d definitely stay here again, especially for the price point. It just feels like you’re getting more than what you paid for, which honestly doesn’t happen that often anymore.
To book a hotel in Warsaw during major European summits, travelers need early planning as this political capital draws visitors eager to experience its reconstructed old town and modern business districts.
