Look, I’ll be honest with you – when I first saw “Central Station Apartment” in the name, I was expecting some cramped place right next to train tracks with constant noise. But this little gem on Wilcza Street actually surprised me in the best way. You’re smack in the middle of Śródmieście, which means you can walk to pretty much everything that matters in Warsaw, but the street itself is surprisingly quiet for being so central. I mean, you’re literally a five-minute walk from the Palace of Culture (you know, that massive Stalin-era building everyone either loves or hates), and Złote Tarasy shopping center is right there when you need to grab something or escape the weather. The apartment itself feels more like staying at a friend’s place than a typical hotel – there’s this lived-in comfort that you don’t get in those sterile chain places, plus having a proper kitchen means you can hit up the nearby Hala Mirowska market and actually cook something decent instead of surviving on restaurant food for your entire stay.

What really won me over was how the place just… works. The check-in was smooth – no standing around a lobby for twenty minutes while they figure out your reservation. The WiFi actually functions properly (honestly, this shouldn’t be noteworthy in 2024, but here we are), and the apartment stays pretty quiet even though you’re in the heart of the city. I was there during a busy weekend in summer and barely heard any street noise, which is kind of miraculous considering how close you are to everything. The building has that classic Warsaw character – you know, the kind of place that survived the war and has stories to tell – but inside it’s been updated enough that you’re not dealing with ancient plumbing or electrical issues. There’s decent storage space too, which matters when you’re staying more than just a night or two. I will say the elevator is one of those tiny European ones, so if you’re traveling with massive suitcases, be prepared for some creative maneuvering.

The location really is the star here though – you can walk to the Old Town in about fifteen minutes if you’re feeling energetic, or hop on the metro at Świętokrzyska station (it’s literally around the corner) and be anywhere in the city in no time. There’s this great little café called Kawiarnia Literacka just down the street that locals actually go to, not just tourists, and the whole Nowy Świat area with its restaurants and bars is basically on your doorstep. For a 3-star place, it punches way above its weight – I’ve stayed in supposedly fancier hotels that felt more generic and less convenient than this. Sure, you’re not getting a concierge or room service, but when you can walk to Łazienki Park for a morning jog or grab pierogi at that little place on Bracka Street whenever you want, who needs hotel amenities? It’s the kind of place where the 8.2 rating actually makes sense – not perfect, but solid and reliable with enough character to make your stay memorable.

  The accommodation was very good. To begin with, the host was very helpful and helped us each time we had queries. It was in a very good place near the train station and of the city centre. It apartment was clean and cosy. We had all the facilities we wanted. Totally value for money!!

  Location was good… close to the place I had work at. Convenient for just a night’s stay. Amenities available but could be of better condition

  The apartment is well located and it is very cozy.
  
  What could be improved: Our only problem was the internet. The WiFi was working well on the first day and then we didn't have any WiFi connection. We contacted the owner but we didn't have any response.
