You’re basically in the heart of Warsaw here, and I mean actually walkable to the good stuff, not that “conveniently located” nonsense where you still need three trams to get anywhere decent.

The apartment itself is pretty standard for what you’d expect in this part of the city – one bedroom that’s honestly bigger than most hotel rooms you’ll find in central Warsaw, and the whole place has that renovated-but-not-fancy vibe going on. The kitchen’s functional (I actually cooked breakfast there a couple times), though you know what? The coffee maker situation is hit or miss depending on when you visit. Sometimes it works great, sometimes… well, there’s a decent café literally two minutes down the street anyway. What I really appreciated was how quiet it gets at night despite being so central – Kolejowa isn’t one of those streets where drunk tourists are stumbling around at 3 AM, but you’re still close enough to walk to the Old Town in maybe fifteen minutes if you’re not dawdling.

Here’s the thing though – and this is where knowing Warsaw actually helps – you’re positioned perfectly between the main tourist zones and the neighborhoods where locals hang out. Praga district is right across the river if you want the artsy scene, the central train station is super close (hence the street name, I guess), and honestly, some of the best pierogi places in the city are within walking distance. The building itself is typical Warsaw architecture, nothing Instagram-worthy but solid and well-maintained. Parking can be tricky if you’re driving – street parking is possible but you’ll be circling the block a few times during busy periods. I’d honestly just use public transport anyway since you’re so well connected here. The 6/10 rating feels about right to me – it’s not going to wow you with luxury touches or have you posting photos of the bathroom, but it does exactly what it promises without any major headaches. Perfect for people who want to actually experience Warsaw rather than just hide in a hotel room.
