Look, I’ll be straight with you about this place on Kredytowa – it’s one of those apartments that gets the job done without any fancy frills, and honestly, that’s exactly what you want when you’re staying right in the heart of Śródmieście. The location is actually pretty brilliant – you’re literally a three-minute walk from the Palace of Culture (yeah, that massive Stalin-era tower everyone either loves or hates), and you can stumble to Złote Tarasy shopping center in your pajamas if you really wanted to. I mean, you’re right there where all the action happens, which is both a blessing and… well, you’ll hear some street noise, especially on weekend nights when people are bar-hopping around Nowy Świat. The building itself is typical Warsaw – that solid, no-nonsense architecture that survived everything this city’s been through.

The apartment feels like someone’s actual home that they’ve converted for travelers, not some sterile hotel setup. The kitchen actually has real plates and decent coffee cups (you know how some places give you those tiny, useless mugs?), and there’s enough counter space to spread out if you grab groceries from the Żabka downstairs. Speaking of which – there’s literally a convenience store in the building, which saved my life more than once when I needed late-night snacks or forgot to buy water. The wifi works fine, though it gets a bit sluggish during peak hours when everyone in the building is probably streaming something. Check-in was refreshingly simple – none of that awkward waiting around in a lobby, just a quick key exchange and you’re sorted.

What I really appreciated was how walkable everything is from here. You can hit up the Old Town in about fifteen minutes on foot, or if you’re feeling lazy, the metro station at Świętokrzyska is close enough that you don’t have to plan your whole day around transportation. The neighborhood has that lived-in Warsaw vibe – there’s a decent pierogi place around the corner on Marszałkowska (locals actually eat there, which is always a good sign), and you’re close enough to the Vistula that you can take evening walks along the river when the weather’s nice. Sure, it’s not going to wow you with luxury touches or Instagram-worthy interiors, but it’s clean, the shower has good pressure, and you get that authentic Warsaw experience of living like a local rather than being tucked away in some tourist bubble. Just pack earplugs if you’re a light sleeper – the city doesn’t really quiet down until pretty late, but that’s part of Warsaw’s charm, honestly.

  It was clean in a central location and it had a nice view from the balcony. Wifi was good. New kitchen stuff.
  
  What could be improved: It was difficult to have shower, after each shower we had to clean the water that dripped out of the curtain. There wasn’t any mop available. Or extra towels or carpets on the floor. It got pretty cold yet the blankets (for single person) were not enough. In general, the sheets/covers were unsufficient. I felt like they didn’t put any extras as if they wanted to make sure that there is no extra person staying there than the ones stated. But we stayed for 7 days and got sick, wanted to change the sheets but couldn’t bc there were no extras. We wanted to wash them but there was no detergent. I believe some detergent and 1-2 extra toilet paper would make it a better the experience
