You know what? I wasn’t expecting much from a place called “Centrum Nauki Kopernika Luxury Studio” – honestly, the name sounds like someone threw a bunch of Polish words together and called it a day. But this little gem on Zajęcza street actually surprised me. It’s tucked right in Śródmieście, which means you’re basically in the heart of everything without the tourist trap chaos. I mean, you’re literally a five-minute walk from the actual Copernicus Science Centre (hence the name, I guess), and the Vistula riverfront is right there when you need to escape the city buzz for a bit.

The studio itself feels more like staying at a friend’s really well-designed apartment than a typical hotel room. Someone clearly put thought into the layout – there’s this clever little kitchenette that doesn’t feel cramped, and the bed actually faces away from the street, which I appreciated since Zajęcza can get a bit lively on weekend nights. The building’s got that restored pre-war vibe that Warsaw does so well, but inside it’s all modern touches without being sterile. Honestly, the shower pressure was better than my apartment back home, and they’ve got this nice coffee setup that saved me from hunting down a decent café every morning (though let’s be real, you’re in Warsaw – there’s amazing coffee everywhere).

What really sold me on this place was the location knowledge you get just by staying here. The hosts clearly know the neighborhood – they pointed me toward this incredible pierogi spot on Dobra street that I never would’ve found otherwise, and warned me that the tram on Tamka gets packed during rush hour, so walk to the metro instead. Little things like that make a difference. The area gets pretty quiet after 10 PM, which was perfect since I was dealing with jet lag, but you’re still close enough to the Old Town action when you want it. Parking’s actually manageable if you’re driving – there’s a garage nearby that won’t completely destroy your budget. I’d definitely stay here again, especially since the 8.1 rating feels about right – it’s solid, comfortable, and the kind of place where everything just works without any drama. Plus, being this close to the river means you can do that classic Warsaw thing where you grab some zapiekanka from a food truck and eat it by the water while pretending you’re not a tourist.

  What I liked the most was the apartment’s location — there are many great cafes and restaurants around, as well as shops, and a metro station nearby. Despite the central location, the apartment is very quiet due to the windows facing the inner courtyard. I also appreciated the well-equipped kitchen and the ample amount of storage space. The sofa bed was foldable and reasonably comfortable.
  
  What could be improved: Unfortunately, I had some difficulties finding the apartment because there was no detailed instruction provided. Moreover, I wasn’t informed of the apartment number in advance. I tried to contact the company’s hotline that manages the apartment, but my calls went unanswered. Thankfully, I did receive a response to my message directly on Booking.
  Additionally, I encountered some cleanliness issues: there were black women’s hairs on the bed, and the bedsheet was torn. Another downside was that the shower water temperature was inconsistent — it would suddenly change from cold to very hot.

  What could be improved: 2 days i could come into the property because guys that i was contacting with answered once per several hours
  so first 2 days were total hell i was renting hotels and asking them about help because they couldnt describe correctly location (there are 2 buildings with the same code the same keylocker on 4th floor on the same location)
  2 days i was praying them to help and saying that thay left me on the street but noone cared about that

  What could be improved: The first day – the shower handle fell off from the rest of the shower and it was reported right away, I asked for it to be repaired as soon as possible. Although the stay was 12 days, and I asked several times to repair it, it was never repaired by the owner, and it was really difficult to take a shower.
  Also the curtains are see-through and the sun was waking me up at 5 am in the morning

  What could be improved: W informacji zwrotnej brakowało informacji o klatce schodowej. Otworzyłem inną niż trzeba i miałem trudność ze znalezieniem właściwego pokoju.
