You know what? I wasn’t expecting much from a place called “Centrum Nauki Kopernika Luxury Studio” – honestly, the name sounds like someone threw a bunch of Polish words together and called it a day. But this little gem on Zajęcza street actually surprised me. It’s tucked right in Śródmieście, which means you’re basically in the heart of everything without the tourist trap chaos. I mean, you’re literally a five-minute walk from the actual Copernicus Science Centre (hence the name, I guess), and the Vistula riverfront is right there when you need to escape the city buzz for a bit.

The studio itself feels more like staying at a friend’s really well-designed apartment than a typical hotel room. Someone clearly put thought into the layout – there’s this clever little kitchenette that doesn’t feel cramped, and the bed actually faces away from the street, which I appreciated since Zajęcza can get a bit lively on weekend nights. The building’s got that restored pre-war vibe that Warsaw does so well, but inside it’s all modern touches without being sterile. Honestly, the shower pressure was better than my apartment back home, and they’ve got this nice coffee setup that saved me from hunting down a decent café every morning (though let’s be real, you’re in Warsaw – there’s amazing coffee everywhere).

What really sold me on this place was the location knowledge you get just by staying here. The hosts clearly know the neighborhood – they pointed me toward this incredible pierogi spot on Dobra street that I never would’ve found otherwise, and warned me that the tram on Tamka gets packed during rush hour, so walk to the metro instead. Little things like that make a difference. The area gets pretty quiet after 10 PM, which was perfect since I was dealing with jet lag, but you’re still close enough to the Old Town action when you want it. Parking’s actually manageable if you’re driving – there’s a garage nearby that won’t completely destroy your budget. I’d definitely stay here again, especially since the 8.1 rating feels about right – it’s solid, comfortable, and the kind of place where everything just works without any drama. Plus, being this close to the river means you can do that classic Warsaw thing where you grab some zapiekanka from a food truck and eat it by the water while pretending you’re not a tourist.

Great apartment! Clean modern room! Excellently equipped! Special thanks to the staff! Just instant response to any question! Always in touch! Five minutes away from the metro, shops, cafes, restaurants! Two steps to the main street! Thank you very much! We are very, very happy!

perfect localisation, nice minimalistic clean design

What could be improved: The first day - the shower handle fell off from the rest of the shower and it was reported right away, I asked for it to be repaired as soon as possible. Although the stay was 12 days, and I asked several times to repair it, it was never repaired by the owner, and it was really difficult to take a shower.
Also the curtains are see-through and the sun was waking me up at 5 am in the morning
