The name actually delivers – which honestly surprised me because half the places calling themselves “chic” these days are anything but. Walking into the lobby, there’s this really nice balance between modern touches and that cozy feeling you want when you’re away from home. The whole setup feels more like a boutique property than your typical 3-star place, and I mean that in the best way possible.

The location is pretty brilliant, actually. Solidarności puts you right in the thick of things without being on one of those super touristy streets where you can’t sleep past 7am because of tour groups. I could walk to most of the main spots I wanted to hit, and there’s this great little coffee place just around the corner that locals actually go to – not one of those tourist traps. The apartments themselves are surprisingly spacious (I’ve stayed in “suites” that were smaller), and whoever did the interior design really knew what they were doing. Everything feels intentional but not stuffy, if that makes sense. The kitchenette is actually functional too, which – let’s be honest – isn’t always the case with these apartment-style places.

What really won me over though was the attention to small details that show someone actually cares about the guest experience. The Wi-Fi works everywhere (including the bathroom, don’t judge me), the shower has proper water pressure, and there’s blackout curtains that actually block light. I slept like a rock every night, which for me is huge since I’m usually tossing and turning in new places. The staff seems to genuinely know the neighborhood too – when I asked about dinner recommendations, the guy at the front desk didn’t just hand me a generic flyer but told me about this place two blocks over where the locals eat. Perfect call, by the way. Look, it’s not the fanciest place you’ll ever stay, but sometimes that works in your favor. The vibe is relaxed without being sloppy, modern without trying too hard, and central without the chaos. For what you pay, especially considering you get a full apartment setup and this location, it’s honestly a really solid choice. Just book early if you’re coming during peak season – I get the feeling this place doesn’t stay empty long once word gets out.
