So I’ve stayed at Chill Apartments Airport Ursynów a few times now, and honestly, it’s become my go-to spot when I need to be near Chopin Airport but don’t want to deal with the usual airport hotel vibe. The name’s a bit quirky – I mean, “Chill Apartments” sounds like something a startup would call their co-working space – but it actually fits the laid-back atmosphere pretty well. You’re in Ursynów, which is this residential district that most tourists never see, and that’s kind of the beauty of it. It feels like you’re staying in an actual Warsaw neighborhood rather than some sterile hotel bubble.

The building itself sits on Pieskowa Skała, which is this quiet street lined with newer apartment blocks and small local businesses. There’s a Żabka convenience store literally two minutes away (you know, the green ones that are everywhere in Poland), and I’ve grabbed late-night snacks there more times than I care to admit. What I really appreciate is how the staff actually remembers you if you’re a repeat visitor – last time, the front desk guy asked how my presentation went, which was… well, unexpectedly nice. The apartments themselves are spacious enough that you don’t feel cramped, and the kitchenettes are properly equipped, not just for show. I’ve made actual meals here, though honestly, the local pierogi place down the street is pretty tempting too.

Here’s the thing about the location that booking sites don’t really explain well – yes, you’re about 15 minutes from the airport by taxi, but you’re also surprisingly well-connected to central Warsaw. The metro line runs right through Ursynów, and once you figure out the system (which takes maybe one trip), you can get to the Old Town in like 30 minutes. The neighborhood gets pretty quiet after 9 PM, which is perfect if you’re dealing with jet lag or just want to actually sleep before an early flight. I will say the soundproofing between apartments could be better – I’ve definitely heard my neighbor’s TV a few times – but it’s not deal-breaking loud. The 4-star rating feels about right; it’s comfortable and well-maintained without being fancy. You get reliable Wi-Fi, decent water pressure, and that slightly generic but clean modern apartment feel. The 8.1 rating makes sense too – it’s solidly good without being exceptional, and honestly, that consistency is exactly what you want when you’re traveling for work or catching flights. Plus, there’s something refreshing about staying somewhere that doesn’t try too hard to impress you with marble lobbies and overpriced minibars.

  What could be improved: The entre to the building is not numbered so it is difficult to know which entre is the right one between so many entres to the building. Maybe a picture of the entre would help to understand better.

  It was clean, good neighbourhood, enough amenities for a one night stay close to the airport.

  What could be improved: I booked this apartment for my parents. When they opened the mailbox where the key to the apartment was supposed to be, it was empty. Luckily, I easily got through to the management company and they offered us another apartment. So I am not downgrading and hope that our case is an exception.

  Apparently this was not our first time in this place, everytime driving through Poland, as a quick stop we somehow choose this flat 😀
