You know what? I wasn’t expecting much from an apartment rental in this part of Warsaw, but the Chłodna Apartment on European Square actually surprised me. The location is honestly perfect if you want to be right in the thick of things without dealing with Old Town tourist chaos. Chlodna Street itself is pretty lively – there’s this constant hum of city life, but the apartment windows do a decent job keeping the noise down at night. I mean, you’ll still hear some trams in the early morning, but that’s just Warsaw for you. The building at number 48 looks a bit Soviet-era from the outside (most of Wola does), but once you’re inside, Noclegi Renters has clearly put some thought into making these spaces feel modern and welcoming.

What I really loved was how walkable everything is from here. You’re literally five minutes from the Palace of Culture – which, love it or hate it, you can’t miss – and maybe ten minutes to get to the trendy Powiśle district if you’re feeling like riverside drinks. The European Square part of the name isn’t just marketing fluff either; you’re genuinely in this area where old communist-era buildings mix with new glass towers, and it gives you this real sense of how Warsaw is constantly reinventing itself. There’s a Żabka convenience store right around the corner (because there’s always a Żabka around the corner in Warsaw), plus some solid pierogi spots that locals actually eat at, not just tourist traps.

The apartment itself feels like someone’s actual home rather than a sterile hotel room, which I appreciated after a long day of sightseeing. The kitchen is small but functional – I made coffee there every morning and even attempted to cook once, though honestly the local restaurants were too tempting. Check-in was smooth; they sent clear instructions via WhatsApp, and the key pickup was straightforward. The 4-star rating feels about right – it’s not luxury, but everything works, it’s clean, and the WiFi didn’t cut out during my video calls home. One small thing though – the shower pressure could be better, but that seems to be a thing in a lot of Warsaw apartments. If you’re planning to stay here during summer, the windows open wide enough to get decent airflow, which you’ll need since there’s no AC. Winter visits are cozy though; the heating works well, and there’s something nice about watching snow fall on Chlodna Street from a warm apartment. For the price point and location, especially if you’re planning to explore beyond just the tourist center, this place makes a lot of sense.

Early hotels booking in Warsaw requires advance planning during peak cultural seasons when visitors flock to see the city’s remarkable reconstruction story and vibrant arts scene.

  This apartment was perfect for a family stay. It was very comfortable and well-suited for a longer stay—we stayed for 6 nights and felt right at home. The location is excellent, with millions of restaurants and shops nearby. It’s just a 20-minute walk to Nauki Tower, and the neighborhood is fantastic, filled with skyscrapers and a great atmosphere. The private underground parking was a huge bonus, making everything even more convenient.

  The apartment was lovely and spacious, well equipped and comfortable. The area around the apartment was interesting, with some bars and the Jewish cemetery nearby. Trams were easy to get and took you straight to the old town.

  The check in was easy, apartment was spacious and clean. Nice location and staff was responding to questions quickly though weren't that helpful.
  
  What could be improved: The beds were uncomfortable and apartment was recommended for five adults though the provided beds were one double bed, small "sofa bed" that was not made for sleeping for a longer term (very small and uncomfortable for two adults to sleep on), and a small mattress that would maybe work for a kid to sleep on. The cooking ware was new but pretty limited. There was yellow water coming from the shower the first night and the washing machine was dirty and smelly so couldn't really use it. Apartment got really hot and eventhough requested did not get any help with ac or a fan. Would expect more for the price. Wouldn't recommend for more than 3 adults.
