You know what caught me off guard about Chłodna Apartments? The name literally means “cold” in Polish, but honestly, this place has more warmth than half the fancy hotels I’ve stayed at in Warsaw. I mean, it’s right there on Chłodna Street in Wola – which, if you’re not familiar with this part of the city, is actually one of those neighborhoods that’s been quietly transforming over the past few years. You’re basically a stone’s throw from the business district, but without all that sterile corporate hotel vibe. The apartment I stayed in had these massive windows facing the city, and I spent way too much time just watching Warsaw wake up in the mornings with my coffee (there’s a proper kitchen, by the way – not just some sad mini-fridge situation).

The building itself feels like authentic Warsaw – you know, that mix of pre-war architecture that somehow survived everything and got a modern refresh without losing its character. Check-in was refreshingly straightforward with Noclegi Renters; they actually know their properties instead of just handing you a key card and pointing toward an elevator. What I really appreciated was how quiet it gets at night, even though you’re in the city center. The street isn’t one of those main thoroughfares where trams are clanging by at all hours, but you can still walk to Rondo ONZ or catch the metro without any hassle. I actually ended up cooking a few meals because the local Żabka is right around the corner, and there’s this little market on Towarowa where you can grab fresh stuff – something you definitely can’t do in a regular hotel room.

Look, it’s a solid 3-star place with an 8.1 rating, and honestly? That rating feels about right. The apartments aren’t trying to be something they’re not – no marble bathrooms or fancy concierge service – but everything works, it’s clean, and the city views are genuinely impressive, especially if you end up on one of the higher floors. I could see the Palace of Culture from my window, which sounds touristy but is actually pretty cool when it’s lit up at night. The Wi-Fi was reliable (crucial for me since I was working remotely), and the heating worked perfectly – which, given the name of the street, I was slightly paranoid about. If you’re the type who needs room service and daily housekeeping, this probably isn’t your spot. But if you want a real apartment in a real Warsaw neighborhood where you can actually live like a local for a few days, and you don’t mind washing your own dishes, then this place delivers exactly what it promises. Plus, you’re saving money you can spend on pierogi at Zapiecek or a proper night out in Praga.

  The only good thing was the location. The apartments are located in a very good area of the city, close to offices, cafes, bars, malls, etc.
  
  What could be improved: The 1st issue was with the cleaning. When we entered the apartments, we found dirty dishes, a floor, a bathroom, and a bedroom. The apartment was not cleaned up after the previous guests at all. That was fixed via a request to the host in a couple of hours. Anyway, it's not a good experience at all and the quality of the cleaning was barely acceptable.
  
  As for the facility – the furniture (sofa) requires some cleaning as it's smelly. Some stuff i.e. the cloth dryer is broken.
  
  One of the most annoying things was noisy neighbors. We listened to dancing music every single night from 2-3 am till 5-6 am) for almost the entire week – this is unacceptable! I do believe the reason was that there are a lot of apartments around for a 1-2 night stay as we were always involuntary listening to different kinds of noises (knocks, sex, music, TV, drunk people talking and so on and so forth). That was a nightmare!
  
  I wanted to prolong my stay for 1 more week and instead of a fair discount as compensation for the inconvenience I was provided with x1.5 price per night with no option to negotiate. Nobody considered the fact that we even said that we don't need cleaning for the prolongation (up to 50% of savings for the host). Therefore, we prolonged for 1 night only and moved to the 4-star hotel which cost x2 cheaper per night.
  
  Very negative customer experience! This would be the least property that I'll ever book in Warsaw next time.

  Wyposażenie i udogodnienia w mieszkaniu. Widok na zewnątrz.
  
  What could be improved: Telewizor, mimo że ma płaski ekran, jest starym modelem i nie odbiera dobrze niektórych programów. Dobrze byłoby, gdyby podczas rezerwacji zdjęcia różnych apartamentów były wyświetlane osobno, a nie wszystkie razem, tak aby można było dokonać wyboru.

  Дуже сподобалося, шо власник потурбувався і записав відео, як зорієнтуватися і знайти ключі. Чудовий краєвид з вікна. Супер розташування, поруч є все необхідне. Що стосується самої квартири, вона не велика, але зручна
