You know what? I’ve stayed in a lot of Warsaw apartments over the years, and this place on Chmielna really gets it right. The location is honestly perfect if you want to be in the thick of things without dealing with tourist trap nonsense. You’re literally a two-minute walk from Nowy Świat – which, if you don’t know Warsaw, is basically where all the good stuff happens. I mean, you’ve got that whole stretch of cafes, bookshops, and those little basement bars that locals actually frequent. The apartment itself sits on this quiet side street that somehow manages to stay peaceful even though you’re surrounded by the city buzz. I was worried about noise (Warsaw can get pretty lively, especially on weekends), but honestly, once you close the windows, it’s surprisingly quiet.

The actual space feels more like staying at a friend’s place than some sterile hotel room. The kitchen is properly equipped – and I actually mean properly, not just a mini-fridge and a coffee maker situation. I ended up cooking a few meals because there’s this fantastic market hall, Hala Mirowska, about a fifteen-minute walk away where you can get incredible fresh stuff. The bathroom’s modern without being too fancy, and there’s actually decent water pressure, which… well, if you’ve traveled around Eastern Europe much, you’ll appreciate that detail. What really sold me was the little touches – good coffee in the cupboard, proper hangers in the closet, and windows that actually open wide (some of these renovated places seal you in like a spaceship). The WiFi works great too, which mattered since I was trying to work remotely for part of my stay.

Here’s the thing about the neighborhood that took me a day or two to figure out – you’re positioned perfectly between the Old Town tourist zone and the more authentic local areas. Walk north for ten minutes and you’re at the Royal Castle doing the full tourist thing. Walk south and you hit Plac Zbawiciela, where young Varsovians hang out and the pierogi places are half the price. The building itself is one of those classic Warsaw reconstructions – you know, the ones that look historical but were actually rebuilt after the war. Getting in was straightforward (they send you a code), though I’d recommend confirming your arrival time because the entrance can be a bit tricky to spot if you show up after dark. Parking’s going to be street parking, which is typical for this part of Śródmieście, but honestly, you don’t need a car here anyway. The metro’s close, trams run constantly, and most of what you want to see is walkable. I stayed five nights and barely used public transport except to get to and from the airport.

Hotels near me in Warsaw offer convenient access to the city center, where guests can easily walk to Royal Castle, Market Square, and vibrant cultural venues.

  What could be improved: We should have been informed that it’s 3rd floor without an elevator. Without kids I wouldn’t mind that though.

  Exceptional location on a pedestrian-only street.
  There are plenty of restaurants and cafes nearby, and it’s just a 5-minute walk to the city centre. The host provided clear instructions for both check-in and check-out.
  The street can be quite crowded and noisy, even at 2 AM — but this isn’t necessarily a downside; it’s part of the spirit of the area!
  
  What could be improved: There was an unpleasant smell in the bathroom, and one wall tile was missing.
  Also, the kitchen didn’t have a kettle, although it was listed in the property description on the website.

  The apartment is in a very good location. Walking distance to many places (Central train station, shopping mall, historical old town, etc.). There are sufficient kitchen utensils in the apartment. You can cook your own food. The apartment was normally clean. The entrance information to the apartment was clear and provided easy entry.
  
  What could be improved: The apartment is on the 3rd floor and there is no elevator. This may difficult for the elderly and disabled. It is a pity that there is no coffee machine in the apartment. Even though we were 4 people, there were towels, quilts and bed linens for 3 people.

  Beautiful apartment right in the heart of the city. The apartment was very clean and comfortable and had everything we needed for our stay. Bright spacious living room, kitchen with cooking facilities, fridge free, kettle, cooking utensils, pots, pans etc if you decide to cook. The bedroom was cozy, with fresh white bedding and a very, very comfy bed. Wardrobe and chest of drawers. Plenty of storage. The bathroom was beautiful, with a really powerful shower with plenty of warm water and toiletries. There is also a washing machine in the bathroom. The apartment block was so quiet and we always had a great night sleep. We loved the quiet time of the apartment block. The living room windows open up onto a main shopping street. The street was very busy all day in to the evening with lots of different shops, cafes and food to go shops. We were there for an event at the PGE Narowdowy Stadium which is approximately 30 mins walk or a few mins on the team. It was the perfect location for us. The apartment is also within walking distance to the main shopping area, the bus station and the old town. The apartment is the perfect for location for the national stadium, shopping, tourist attractions. Especially that the tram and bus stops are right on the doorstep.
  
  What could be improved: The only issue I myself had was that like most apartments there are no lifts in the building our apartment was on the 3rd floor, I found it a bit of a struggle the 1st day or 2, but after that it was fine. My partner had no issues, but he's fitter than me lol! The only other thing was, that it would have been good to have had some English speaking tv channels. Apart from that, the apartment is perfect!

  Выпить, покушать, одеться, все в шаговой доступности, место расположения удобное, даже ребенок сам бегал в ЖАБКУ (8лет), можно было наблюдать его из окна)
